Nicely raised children. I LOVED hearing the old school and quite articulate conversation the young lady had with Deputy Sloup, and the prompt Thank You's and other pleasantries from them. Outstanding!
Frank has been fired from two other police agencies including the Maricopa County Sherrifs Office because he is less that truthful and is on the Arizona Brady list so he can not testify under oath in court or give any statement in a criminal case. Frank is a documented liar.
How rare is it for everybody involved in a video to be such lovely people, Mom is doing a great job with those kids, so polite and articulate. Frank is awesome.
"I cited you with a buncha other stuff too so now you have plenty of stuff to talk with the court about" said in the same tone as a mom who says "I made sure to pack all your favorite foods in your lunch box, honey" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Where else on this planet can people get a sleeve of tickets, and THANK the officer, and want to take selfies and shake hands? Awesome Job to Sheriff Lamb, Deputy Sloup and of course the cameraman! You folks are killing it!
Personally I think Frank is the creator of a new discipline. My working title for now is 'confrontational communication' (or dialogue). I have a past as a peace-keeper in the Middle East and like in lots of other branches in risk management the amount of 'self-inflicted harm' is quite serious (Just from working practice up to 80% of stuff which the debrief or root-cause made clear we could actually blame on ourselves ... quite a leadership challenge so to say). Locally - The Netherlands - we have a blogging police officer, Jan Willem, who is also strong in entering into a dialogue. But our culture is a bit less exuberant ... So for me I see history unfold in the clips of Frank!
This is absolutely the right way to do it. The people who are happy after meeting Frank are more likely to improve their driving than after a non-cordial conversation that leaves people angry.
It's good to see people actually take responsibility for their actions good naturedly and not scream, whine, cry, lie, cuss, verbally abuse and blame the officers.
As a Canadian, I'm amazed they let this guy go with a 12 year expired license. In Canada, the license would be confiscated and the truck towed to impound. You would then have to redo your driving test and pass it to get a new license. Once that was done, you could then get your car out of impound and pay the giant fee.
During a check stop event we ended up having the towing companies bring their flat decks so they could haul more than one vehicle at a time and impounded 12 vehicles for improper licensing and paperwork. B.C. drivers are ridiculous.
I'm wondering the same thing, why did they let him drive away? Maybe it's because they know if they cite and release him there's a 90% chance he won't show up on his court date, a bench warrant gets issued, and then 3 years later he gets pulled over again but this time gets arrested for the warrant and has to pay a much higher fine? In other words they'll eventually get more money out of him later?
Bless you Frank for interacting with those innocent kids so well. They will always have a positive view of a police officer. You made my day when you gave them stickers. Carry-on, and be safe.❤
Always appreciate how versatile Frank can be towards the bad drivers who believe that they are on the mountain of right. Then of course the amazing interaction with the kids
I love how good he is with kids. A lot of childless people don't know how to interact with them and wind up being awkward or condescending. Frank understands they're just little persons and treats them accordingly. He must be an awesome uncle.
@user-yf3oz3rn5b, I’m a childless guy in my 60’s, so theres not a high probability that I’ll ever be a dad. Being an uncle is awesome, though. My sister used to drop her’s off at my place, I’d play with them for two or three hours, then right before I’d go crazy, she’d swoop back over and grab them.
My dad is 70 and he watched PAW patrol with my brother’s daughter P. starting when she was around 3 until she was around 8 or so almost daily. I once asked him, if this is not a rather annoying show and he said: ‚Well, yes, really annoying. But P. loves it so much and she likes to watch with me so I ask her, if she wants to watch it‘ Then I asked P. if she really still likes PAW patrol, since she is a rather big girl going to school for some time and this is more for kindergarten kids. She said: ‚yes, it is quite boring. But Grandpa always asks if I want to watch it with me and because he likes it so much, I watch it with him…‘ They found some new shows to watch together rather quickly after that.
He said expired. Expired and suspended are different things. AZ licenses expire when you're 65. This guy doesn't seem 77. Maybe it was an out of state license.
@@Chemically_Induced California Licenses are only good for I think 4 years now, then they either make you come in and retest or renew it online. Mine expires in 2025 so I'm hoping I can avoid the DMV and renew it online as our DMV's suck and have very long wait times.
@ClayBo21879 The Arizona State Legislature decided to revoke the "shall tow" provision from the criminal code. They can't legally tow for expired license. Totally stupid but the law is the law.
"Ahh Mommy got a ticket and you guys got stickers." That is absolutely adorable. Mom is doing a great job raising these boys. Good on you mom, but, slow down.
@@Thunderbyrd. Yea that makes sense, it's not a criminal thing. I mean it is, but it's not a bad criminal thing, like one a those fluffy fun kinda blond doubleD criminal things instead, if it should please the court.
I love my fridays with frank because its a signal that all is in balance. But every cop Ive ever been pulled over by has been like this as long as I dont cause any problems. These videos are a good lesson to everyone how this is all supposed to work.
Yay! It’s the best way to start a Friday. Also the best way to start my birthday *Friday the 13th* . Frank’s handing out stickers and citations! Be safe out there. 💙💙💙
LOVE FRANK so much patience and so kind. Also loved watching him with his Dad. I was raised by a police officer and this man is a gift as was my father. Thank you Frank so much!
They used to, but, I believe the law changed, where, arresting them and/or towing their car, became a waste of time. It is not right, in my opinion, but, it is the lawmakers, that are the problem.
It's Arizona! I watch Tow Trucker on RU-vid. He's in Atlanta, GA and he says that the PD will tow everyone who doesn't have a license, registration or insurance. Who would have thought that ATL is tougher on crime than Pinal County.
Even the basic stops on short videos (hinthint longer is appreciated) are a good watch since Frank always treats people like people. Kind of rare these days among the general population. 😕
Frank is so amazing when he makes a traffic stop, he didn’t make it traumatic for the mother and her children and even has time to chat and give them stickers so they weren’t upset about mom getting a ticket, yet you see parents making traffic stops so traumatic for their children they turn out hating police officers instead of accepting responsibility and owning up to being caught. Massive respect to officer Frank Sloup and his colleagues in law enforcement my he and them be watched over and protected
1 : 12 years expired is CRAZY 2 : Pinal County Sheriffs Office, I think I speak for everyone when I say, “We need longer videos” lol I love the current content, but a 10-15 min video would be spectacular !
No idea if he will see this, but WAY TO GO pointing out children's safety in their seats, even when the parents are doing it properly. Using your platform to consistently call it out to your viewers is a brilliant way to keep viewer's minds on safety, especially for their kids. Good job, Frank!
Your license has been expired since 2012… so presumably he also has no insurance ? And he gets to drive away? 🤯How? Great interaction with the kids though 👍😊
@@Calibrownsfan As far as I'm aware, an insurance company will not pay out on a claim by an unlicensed driver. There's the immediate consequence for anyone he harms or property he damages in an accident. Overall, everyone's insurance premiums are higher as a result of people like this. Edit: Of course, the other issue is that if the state is shorted out of money to repair and maintain the roads and pay Deputy Sloup's salary, they have to get the money elsewhere. So law-abiding, tax-paying people have to pay more for their fees and taxes.
As an Arizona driver who has had two broken windshields fixed in one year, I’d LOVE to see some law enforcement done about those jacked up trucks with tires sticking outside the wheel wells and no mudflaps. It’s rampant. And dangerous to the rest of us.
They have dark skin they will let him go he's not born in USA they love the Mexicans before USA people time has changed lots USA LGBTQ president They hate the American people's 😢 they have a new law if you're born in America they will take him to jail If you're Mexican they will let him go that's what to him it hurt somebody freeway they don't care no more the cops the afraid to lose a job Democratic state they afraid to speak😢
He doesn't tow cars if the driver ever had a license because it takes him off the road for 30 minutes while there is nothing stopping the driver from paying for the tow and getting the vehicle back the same day. If the driver never had a license, he would have it towed because then it would be impounded for 20 days.
Thank You Deputy Frank when I get pissed off driving or start to speed You pop in My head and I just slow down and chill Thanks to Sheriff Lamb for sharing You with Us just a old Mountain Man from Tennessee
They used to, but, I believe the law changed, where, arresting them and/or towing their car, became a waste of time. It is not right, in my opinion, but, it is the lawmakers, that are the problem.
I can see it if they just didn't bother renewing it. They had a license before, they passed the tests and know how to drive. It'd be different if they never had one at all or were disqualified from driving. Towing and arrest is overkill for not having your picture taken and paying the renewal fee, a fine is sufficient encouragement.
We have to get more of these. I’m not sure how but we need more and much longer videos seriously maybe a full daily paid show I would happily pay my membership
I wish the episodes were a bit longer, like around the ten minute mark. Traffic Thursdays are perfect in their length. Something like that would be my perfect world request haha
HOLD on, he's no licence since 2012 and yet frank allow's him to drive off, FRANK, you let me down frank, and if he crashes and kill's someone straight after this, who's at fault,
The driver? What a weird question. It’s an expired license, not a suspended one. You go to the DOT, get your picture taken, and get handed a new one. A piece of plastic with a current date doesn’t dictate your ability to drive safely. Don’t be so dramatic.
I love how Frank told the man driving the truck I’ve all kinds of citations for you,you could take care of at the court the guys like I found my insurance. !! Franks like no ….I already cited you for that… lol 😂
@@M_Pashby thank you for that. Explanation of why somebody without a valid license is allowed to be on the roads. I'll have to keep that in mind and not spend money on getting mine next time
@@deangress4301 He’s not off the hook, he still gets to meet the Judge and write a check. If he doesn’t get it straightened out, the next interaction results in more severe consequences (impound/possible arrest).
For all of the “why is he letting him drive off if he doesn’t have a license?” inquiries. I believe Frank has addressed this in previous videos. If the driver has had an AZ license in the past, and it has expired (not been suspended), he will allow them to continue on their way, but provides them with a citation and court date.
To add to your comment: It was a license from any state, not just AZ. Also there’s no hold on the vehicle after being towed, so the person can get their car back same day. Also, waiting for the tow takes him off the road for about an hour. Wish I could remember what video he gave all this information in lol.
@@Gambit0590 Nope, I just know how to look up facts. You seem to only be capable of repeating the nonsense you see on frauditor pages. Either you're afraid to look up facts because it will make you look stupid, or you will continue posting the same crap, which makes you look stupid. Either way, you look stupid.
These interactions are how all interactions with traffic offences should be. The officer is polite and fair. The drivers behaviour was reasonable despite getting a ticket in other words the cop was just doing his job and the motorists accepted this. If everybody in in these situations behaved like reasonable human beings the world wouldve a better place
I was waiting for the “I didn’t know I had to renew my license. I thought you paid once and that was it”. I thought maybe the drivers that get pulled over in Arizona were a bit dumber than other places but after watching the guys in Florida, Florida wins the dumb driver award hands down!! 😂 I couldn’t be a traffic cop. I’d be wanting to say “ I’m sorry but you, my friend, are an idiot” 😂
In AZ its weird. Been awhile but you can get like a lifetime or forty year license. Cool but like idk. People age, ya know. Im sure you can always get photo redone
