Smart guy on tuners.....must have been there/done that.....same as MANY I know from clear back to 35-40 years ago.....some just don't research history & have to learn the hard way once, if ever, they end up shooting enough & not just "test-shooting".....lol
I have shot .22 Bench for years and I also have a FX Impact. The airguns are getting close to .22 capabilities give it another 5 years they might just nail it.
Great video. Hope you're still enjoying the M3. I have the MK2 V2 in 25cal (110ftlb)/ 30cal (145ftlb) currently 30cal 44.5gr Hybrids 1004fps, 110shots 14ES 4SD, deadly accurate, stacking at 120yds. Hitting golf balls in 12-16mph FV winds 12/12 109yds. Just remember, ES/SD is secondary, PRECISION ACCURACY is the first concern. You can have 20fps ES & shoot sub moa with ease. As for some saying 'if it's an accurate rifle then anybody can shoot it" that's just laughable & ignorant 😂😂
Love the video. Love that you have God included in your channel. What bipod are you using and what butt stock is this with rail connected to handle? I am getting my FX Impact M3 this Friday and want to soup it up lol😂
For PRS but still the M3 is the winner in all other disciplines bench speed ect you simply do not see Pantheras winning airgun comps and the FX guys are still running the M3 so i think the Panthera has a couple years of refinement to be a real competitor
@@5stargunsandgear m3 for life mate, i think once a shooter forks up the price for the m3 and the six months wait for production seals the deal for me.
22 rim fire with the years and years of development will beat even the best PCP air rifle setups. But it doesn’t stop me from having way more fun with my FX impact m3 hands down the most fun. The technology is ramping up and pretty soon you will see slug shooting airguns battling it out with .22 rim fire. I personally don’t think it has anything to do with the guns and everything to do with the projectiles. The industry is moving from the pellet to the slug and manufacturing and tooling and RnD is just not quite caught up yet to the Millions of hrs of guys plinking with .22 rimfire.
50-100yds rimfire can definitely be more accurate... but my soft lead 44gr .25 cal slugs do more damage have less drop and drift than my. 22s not my .17s but it's more fun lol
@@mistr_clean7557 like I said with the right barrel twist rate and projectile. Once it becomes common knowledge and you get more and more people testing and using said combo and more manufacturers RnD into the same likeness of said twist rate and projectile I think it will be a thing but RN. They aren’t there.
I have fx impact mk2 25 cal 700mm with power plenum 720 upgrade for shooting 34 gr jsb at 865 fps very accurate 👌 and I got my fx impact m3 22 cal 800mm barrel kit shooting 34 gr javelin and vk at 1000fps and I got a nova Vista 22 cal 250 dollar pcp shooting 17.5 gr nsa at 935 ish and that 250 dollar gun will shoot sub moa at 50 and 100 yards awesome video guys thanks for sharing bsafe I'm definitely going to subscribe to Brady channel
I am all about air power but I still don't think airguns are up there *just yet.* Progress is still very interesting to watch and I can't wait for the price tag to go down so more people can get into pcp's!
@@stevesracingbits yes, but once you add a regulator or other fancy options the price goes up by 100s! _Maybe one day we will be able to get a regulated rifle with a pump for the price of an affordable .22lr but I might be pushing a bit too far haha_
You should swing up to Maine every 3rd Saturday we do a long gong challenge which is 8,6an 4” gong’s with 22lr at 300 yards come on up an play an do some fishing!!
I think Brady could do a lot better if he tweaked his air pressures and hammer adjustments. I have a maverick 25 and followed Steve's (AEAC)tuning process and it was like night and day. Great video.
I'm a little confused :) Is it same hole when the hole gets continuously bigger? If the entire target disappears into the same hole... "Flyer, damaged skirt, weight difference" :) I dunno but personally if I was going to do these kind of videos I'd start off by weighing my pellets and I wouldn't load any damaged pellets. As for flyers. Of course there are going to be "flyers" unless a person has the ability to switch off the wind. Excuses excuses :) Good shooting fellas, All the best.
I’d say that’s probably more down to the pellet spiralling from being shot at that power more than flyers , the difference you’d have especially at 100 yards with slugs would be completely different. Pellets at high power just don’t like it look at teds holdover he goes in depth about it you don’t get that many flyers
You think the impact is cool look at a Vulcan 3 made by AGT all 3 of mine will shoot under 2inchs at 200 yards and under an inch on a good day... I'll never buy another pos FX HOWEVER, kid seems like a good one! Definitely going to sub to Brady's channel
Brady you seem like a down to earth guy! I just picked up a Pantera and impact m3. Excited to get back into airguns and see what i can do with them. Xring don't buy one because you will soon have 3 or 4 more 😂
I think a lot is from the liner and barrel not being the most ridgid setup. One thing I have found is never pick the rifle up by the barrel, never lean it against anything on the barrel. I am anxious to get my King. The plenum supports the barrel and the whole system is much more ridgid.
I've got a umarex gauntlet gen 1 25 cal useing a adjustable flex reg from hajimoto my gun is shooting with in 2 to 3 feet per shot speed every shot the gun cost 242 $s + a few bells and whistles basically same hole at 50 yds with 33.95s 895 fps shoots the lights out ain't no fx but it's bad to the bone I kill average 25 groundhogs every year + some other varmints also topped with a arken scope which is bad to the bone it holds 0 excellent and dialing the turrets are some of the best money can buy and that ain't no bullshit 300$ scope with 2000$ capability scopes arken is knocking the qualty of these scopes out of the park.
I just bought an FX Maverick. Was shooting with a buddy who has a panthera. We were shooting through a target with a 5/16 hole and a drop down flap when it went through the hole. We had it set at 50 yards. I had 4 in a row through a 5/16 hole. Absolutely mind blowing accuracy. The interesting thing, the misses that hit the metal plate were louder than the shot itself. The fact that you can shoot the airgun anywhere needs to be taken into account as well.
They make me laugh when they say how good they are. This is not shooting.I was in comps when younger.10 shots prone 10 kneeling and 10 standing, unsupported up to 300 yds with fixed sights. This shooting is virtualy putting the rifle in a vice. And using sights. There is also no recoil to allow for. These rifles are dangerous toys.
I felt embarrassed for him. I could feel every off shot at 100 yards. Best airgunner in the country is subjective. If you have an accurate gun, anyone can be the best airgunner in the country or universe. Not a good look for fx. Going to buy a red Ryder now…mayaswell…know what I’m saying
Well he's right about slugs. That is the NOW of competition with air rifles. FX PANTHERA hard to beat the bc but I still love my .22RF . The initial price into airguns that are competition worthy is crazy expensive but for someone who shoots as much as I do? In the long run your saving so much money on buying pellets and even slugs. That's just the truth and there's no argument about that.
Ive had an impact and found them not to be the most accurate, had much better groupings with rifles half the price.. the impact is deff fussy ... but nice vid tho..
@@2cthetruth thats funny because I didn’t tell him what to do just made a statement as to what needs to be done. And just because someone is classified as a “professional “ doesnt make them right on that basis alone. He is a good shooter no doubting that. When my m3 starts throwing confusing groups I simple clean the barrel as first thing on the checklist
It was implied so you are passively telling him what to do. Good shooter is only as good as the gun they shoot. I can have my 6 year old shoot moa at 100 yards with an ACCURATE gun. This is a bad look for fx. Horrible groups
@@2cthetruth hahaha whatever helps you sleep at night. So first I was attacking him(you thought) so you commented. I corrected that thought and now its fx problems?? When I guarantee you he doesnt compete with a rifle thats throwing flyers like that. Therefore you can assume that his competition ready guns do not shoot like this. And to that fact that its safe to assume its a small issue most likely dirty barrel or something along those lines
No, I said you passively attacked him…you did, don’t lie. Also a good shooter IS only as good as his weapon. So happens in this case, he is shooting a shitty weapon. Blame it on whatever you want. He knew he was making this video and botched it. Think about how many people see this and steers them clear away from fx now. PS, your zippers open😳
As the champ, he should be able to pick out the right ammo before going into this challenge no doubt that he is a really good shooter but don't think this should be something that he never thought about....regarding the ammo or the gun
this guy should not blame the ammo or whatever......just could not perform that day...not saying he cant...it was not his day for this challenge...my personal friend who is the one we shot with does not have that rifle can shoot a group at 40 meters the size of a dime...
