As we were unable to attend the Eurovision pre-party in Madrid earlier this year we made a tribute to the Spanish ESC winner of 1968, ‘La La La’ by Massiel, as a compensation for our absence. Now this Gåte version of the beautiful song is available for you to enjoy as well.

Gåte was one of my favorite bands until I forgot about them quite frustrated, when they went into an hiatus 2004...so 20 years ago. Just by chance I watched the Eurovision contest this year and couldn't believe my ears and eyes. They are back and even better with new music. Thanks for this awesome surprise 😍

I'd say that especially Gåte's acoustic album "Nord" actually sounds quite traditional. You might also like the albums "Rosenfole" by Agnes Buen Garnås and Jan Garbarek, "Solrenning" by Anne Vada and Aki Fukakusa, "Bergtatt" by the Oslo Kammerkor, "Haugtussa" by Lynni Treekrem and maybe "Spindelsinn" by Kari Rueslåtten, if you aren't already familiar with them.
