Gérard Souzay absolutely understands & comes from a deep trust in his vocal & interpretive instrument with ultimate control of his mezzanine voce. Exquisite!

Dang that texting guessing at self correction! It SHOULD have said, "MEZZA VOCE"! That was the whole point.

Oh lord, I love Souzay but when he sang that E# instead of natural I cringed.

And the accompanist...wtf is he/she doing? You can barely hear the minor/minor 7th quality of the chord on the last syllable of 'arbousiers'
