The fire looks so nice with the white core and the purple hue. after doing so much poi and learning so many moves and u make everything look way more elegant than me.
Ohhh, I was waiting for this video sooo much!!:And now it is here!!:):) The music isn`t very easy but you used every single beat, it is so perfectly done. Thanks, tahnks, thanks!!
Wow, such an amazing response. Thank you all for your kind words and ffor taking the time to really comment on what you saw and what you felt. This was the first of hopefully many choreographies that I will write and it's so uplifting to have such positive feedback from my first attempt. More to come, G.
Turned out this was the best I ever wrote. so subsequent attempts were nowhere near as good. This one did take me 3 months to write though so maybe if I put a year into the next one I might be able to come up with something to challenge this one.
@@tubularG For what it's worth, I've been coming back to watch this since 2015. Eight years of immersion in poi now and still the best fire performance I've ever seen.
wow i cant believe i totally forgot about G after so long........... looking back at his video though i can tell i definitely took him as a huge inspiration, subconciously, in what my style is today ^ ^ thanks buddy hehe
i love the contrast -- use of big and small movements, change of speed, variation of pace throughout, the way you drew in the crowd. the precision (obviously) is inspiring beyond belief. I bow to you G. Well done. This is perhaps my new favorite solo poi set!
Wow! this was an awesome performance! You use those stalls to emphasise the beats in the music very well. I can only hope to be that good one day... again, Great job...
I love it but what I truly LOVE is the end, so clean, so perfect with the beats, ridonkylus :D But hey, I already told you this and how overwhelmingly wicked youré spinning is, shouldn´t keep on boosting your ego like I do ;) Hope to see you soon and enjoy yourself wherever you are my friend! You are awesomeness, not only spinning wise! Big smiles and happiness!
I really really loved this, you really make it seem like the music was built around your routine, and not the other way around :) I'd love to spin with you again, this is a good time to remind you that Israel has a juggling festival in April ;)
And the whole video I was like "yeah I can do that... well that's awesome... I think I can... oh no I can't... but that's seems quite- AWW MAN WTF HOW IS THIS EVEN POSSIBLE"
@cycloidpoi My advise is get comfortable with everything you can do. When you body is no longer straining to create the move you are free to explore movement. When your mind is no longer straining you are free to explore connections.
Seconding the white gas guess. It doesn't seem smokey so probably not kero. If it lasted longer it might have been a lamp fuel/white gas blend, but since it has about a 3min 30sec burn it's probably just white gas. If it looked like bigger fire than you're used to seeing/using, perhaps it's because the weave of the wicks is different and/or the size. It looks fairly standard to me.
@VegaEtereo im pretty sure G was created by the maker of edward sissorhands.. except the dood thought poi instead of hands would be a bit cooler than sissors the next time around. ;b just my theory on the whole G thang..
