Great reaction - and it's a fantastic cover by G-Flip. I'm surprised no-one has commented before this to let you know that Taylor Swift has apparently seen this cover performance, and given it a thumbs up 'Like'. G-Flip has another interview video where she talks about how delighted she was that Taylor Liked it.

My dear lady… Despite the song title, for some reason, I was expecting this to be a cover of the only other song by the same name I’ve ever heard by British all-girl group Bananarama back in the early 80’s. Boy was I proven wrong 🫵😁🇦🇺. G-Flip’s actually Australian isn’t she???

G-Flip is awesome. Their last album (Drummer) is amazing. But to be terribly PC, G-Flip prefers They/Them pronouns. You may cop some grief over your use of the feminine ones. 🙂

I thank you for your respectful comment. I have had a few comments to this effect so I am aware but in all honesty it is not in my vocabulary to refer to one person as they. I DO NOT mean any disrespect by this but if I were to try I would end up constantly correcting myself or trying not to use any pronouns at all which results in sounding like I am talking about an alien rather than a human being. The artist deserves more than that! I am also an Aussie and I have never met anyone who would give grief over such things. We just don't get upset by this stuff. Also anyone who does give reactors grief regarding this is really doing the artist a disservice. We are here to appreciate the art and I think many reactors probably don't react to non binary artists as they are not looking for an argument. I am very impressed though, I must say, as all comments to this affect have been very respectful. I am at the same time a little disappointed that almost every comment mentions pronouns and not enough are talking about the art... which is what the talking point should be...

@@SwiftReactionsI understand perfectly. I, myself started writing "she prefers .." and had to stop and re-write. It was obvious there was no disrespect intended, and, IMO that's what really matters.
