This is John Raulerson, coming to you from our world training headquarters here in Jacksonville, Florida. I want to talk to you today about the problem that a lot of machine shops and many shops have, which are those awkward weights. Not necessarily a lot of weight, but the way it's distributed, the way you handle it. Here we have our Gorbel G-Force Easy Arm, or G-Force crane. In this case, we're going to demonstrate with three equally weighted 50-pound weights, and I will demonstrate how easily I can lift that with the GForce hoist.
Let me share with you one of the absolute coolest features of the G-Force Intelligent Lifting Hoist - with the touch of a button, we're going to go into Float Mode. Now, with the touch of my fingers I can precisely lift and rotate 150 pounds with zero weight, zero gravity. The Float Mode senses my force, so if I give it a little bit of force, it moves slow, and if I give it a lot of force, it speeds up. It literally is like magic.
Let's talk about some of the features of the G-Force lifter. It comes standard with a crosby latch kit for safety, and we can clamp, grab, vacuum... the possibilities are endless. Moving on up, we have an ergonomic dimpled slide-handle. This handle will not operate with any movement; the reason being, we have a safety feature, which is a high-tech laser beam. Once your hand breaks that laser beam, the hoist will operate, if you don't break the laser beam, the hoist won't operate. This prevents accidental movements, such as someone bumping into it, from dropping the load.
Next, we have an LED screen. The biggest advantage of this feature, is on a standard hoist, all of your virtual limits and your speed settings are set way up high on the hoist, but on G-Force hoist all the brains are at hoist and eye level so it can all be programmed easily with the push of a few buttons. There is also an emergency stop in case there's an accident. If you lose power, there is an internal braking system so you will not lose or compromise your load.
Further up the arm, we have a 360 degree swivel. As the load is being suspended in brake mode, I can suspend, move, and rotate in all directions. Above that is the information cable, that's the spiral where all the brains are, and that speaks to the computer and the hoist. Housed inside the spiral is rotation-proof wire rope, and that's what is suspending the load.
Those are all of the amazing features of the G-Force Intelligent Lifting. Other chain or wire rope hoists are absolutely no comparison.
