Shit man I was born in one of the worst hoods in America. Lost more friends than I can count to gang violence, police wouldn't even come to my neighborhood once the sun went down. Armored vehicles and gang task force with full autos. I've been through a lot and beat the odds. I had no hope of making it to 21, I just accepted I was going to die or do life. Then I made it to 21 and thought no way I hit 23, before I knew it I was 25 and still doing nothing with my life, just street shit trying to make it another day. They killed my little brother who was 17, 2 weeks after he got out of youth authority for 5 years. That was the day I said fuck this and moved out the hood. Worked my way up the construction ladder and now I'm a director of construction for a big commercial firm. I'm 32 now and have a family who will never see that side of me, raising my sons away from the bullshit. The PTSD will never go away, I can't have people stand behind me, I can't have my back to the door, if I go somewhere I have to know all the exits. There's still people who want me dead but I don't go anywhere near the hood anymore, changed my number, moved to the suburbs and actually have a comfortable and good life. Still feels like I'm dreaming half the time when I think about where I was 8 years ago. I was 100% positive I was going to die or do life behind bars...

They didn’t start anything, this style of drill started with lil bibby and g herbo in 2011. Even the beat was made by the Chicago producer that they mainly used showing the influence. With that being said it don’t change the fact that this shit still hard tho
