Fabulous performance. I play this also on free bass piano accordion but not at this level of musicianship ;-) A side note.... Gershwin supposedly said that a performance on an accordion he heard years ago was the only other instrument besides piano that it could be played well on correctly.

Bravo! This is magnificent! I’ve watched an earlier rendition of this by him in 2014 and this is MUCH BETTER! The phrasing isn’t rushed and mumbled. This is thoughtfully performed. However the audio engineer didn’t set the mic level properly so the recording is clipped during the louder segments.
Apporopriate that "Rhapsody in Blue" should be presented in this manner by a Russian artist - since the Gershwin (Gershevitz) family was from St. Petersburg. So many U.S. songwriters of that era had roots in Russia (Vernon Duke, Irving Berlin and Lew Brown, to name a few) , I've often said that Russia's greatest gift to America was the "Great American Songbook"
