Not because he's spittin real but because it isn't catchy or something someone can vibe to if you want to hear this on the radio you should probably get xm radio
The fact that I became completely consumed with the video rather the actual song, definitely tells you something. This is a beautiful work of art. G Herbo you are helping spread an important message and I think we all can appreciate that. Thank you. Keep the realness coming
I never fked with that chiraq music I just judged a book by its cover.. him lil bibby and keef lyrics better then them gay rappers out now fr.. respect.
keef lyrics? no hate but keef its not lyrical. the only one's with potentional from chiraq are bibby, herb, montana of 300,young pappy (rip) LA capone (rip).. all others are ass.
JFade 10 it was a compliment, what's wrong with a Compliment? I complimented Herbo by comparing his video to Kdot and J.Cole who also have great meanings behind their music, because not many rappers illustrate like this in their lyrics💯
+Sierra Nesbit whether he says he's not, he really is though.. even in this song this can be considered drill, he's talking about killing, he's shouting out his gang and reping his block "nlmb 150 roc bloc" Lil herb is definitely a drill rapper
see I respect youngn no auto tune str8 lyrics this is what makes greats of all times he not there yet but he is sure on his way . new to him heard few songs in past but seen his growth . but for the younger generation shit I'm not knocking what yall do but you got respect fact we opened these doors for yall come up . alot OGs don't respect the auto tune not authentic. but this man hear doing it right shit much respect G Herbo
Powerful video with a powerful message. Honestly a lot of the songs of BLIK have a lot of lyrical and political substance, but I never expected a video like this. Herb is the best out of Chicago.
Just coming back to this after years… and remember watching this when it came out I knew then he was gon piss ppl off with this one.. good for herb for staying true to him self 💯 from the same city .. keep climbing my boy 💯👌🔥
Herb brhh if you reading this stay away from the drill cause this shyt fire🔥🔥you have potential to 2 be the greatest bring back the true hip hop you so versatile
G Herbo really caught my attention when he dropped Retro Flow, I'm glad him and Bibby doing more than just drill music now. Ballin Like I'm Kobe and Free Crack 3 two of the best mixtapes out.
Holy shit. I can't say I'm surprised but I am impressed. I've been waiting for Herb to make this transition since Fazoland. This is a fantastic video, a superb song. More people need to see this because it's award-winning shit. The interplay between racism then and now was so artfully done and paired with his lyrics PERFECTLY. This is fucking ART.
I LOVE G Herbo music because he be saying some real stuff her speak the truth he talk about how he struggled and how he came along way to get where he is now. I love this song because basically what he is saying is the struggle is real and that he's sick and tired of the hate, the racism, the abuse, and when he says "how is this the land of the free" he means that how is America the land of the free when racism and segregation is still happening. G herbo raps about real life issues and he says things that some people will understand. NO ONE CAN EVER BE COMPARED TO HIM, ITS ONLY 1 HERBO
+Pierce Peel it is. It talks about how everything is so corrupted for us black men and we are basically working for the white man. This country is based around him but hopefully that will change. They will try to exploit you any way to get you in the worse possible situation. Look at what's happening now. All these damn shootings and white cops going free for killing our people
From the bottom of the bottoms There was nothing under me Now the judge hang us with 100 years, used to hang us by a tree I was born in the trap tryna stay up out the penitentiary Cuz living ain't cheap tell me how this the land of the free
+Didi #11 not meaning it like that 😂 just saying black males got it hard. not saying nobody else got it hard bc basically every race do but, lets be real who you see more in jail and more killed ?
+Didi #11 i'm not trying to blame anyone for how blacks act. i know how blacks act. and true, i do think more should try in school then to just give up on it. but, think think about what if there was no such thing as dropping out ? it wouldnt be enough opening in jobs. and truthfully it isnt just blacks dropping out and doing that stuff. its every race, do you see all these different type of gangs ? nobodys doing anything about it. nobodys changing anything, we can all be friends and make money together instead of hating on one for what they got.
