soyeon, the leader who also writes their songs mentioned that queencard's lyrics were supposed to be light-hearted or comedic and not supposed to be taken seriously since they've done those kind of topics already and they wanted a fun song!
It's safe to say shes the main producer of the group and most of their discography and concepts with the members helping in writing and other things. :)
@@aristotlecruz2021 The lyrics are not so bad when it comes to English, just in queencard its a little weird but still cool to hear, and in her rapping part in tomboy, must bc cube censored some parts of the rap and soyeon adapted to still reference soojin and make sense
allergy is probably very meaningful to soyeon. she was always called "ugly" on pd101 and was basically bullied by the internet (which still happens unfortunately). there's multiple clips of her saying that she had attended over 20/30 auditions for different companies but was always rejected because she "didn't have the looks to be an idol" and others of her calling herself ugly. it's crazy how kpop is all about visuals while talent like soyeon's fades into the background like this...either way, i think she is extremely attractive, beauty standards are a joke

Thanks for the information. I am new to (G) I-DLE but have seen Soyeon briefly before on some cuts from some reality shows and was always like omg who is this gorgeous woman. That's why I absolutely flabbergasted to hear that she was called ugly. It is super wrong to call someone that in the first place and on top of that she is absolutely stunning so I don’t get it. Like wow I am shocked.
A lot of people called her ugly on produce101 and look at her now. She is one of the most if not THE most successful person to come from that show (season 1). I was watching produce101 when it came out and it has been amazing to see her growth as a person and an artist. I’m proud to be a fan ☺️
Shuhua's face when she says Queencard OMG xD. They were all swinging, all looked good but Shuhua bias and proud. I adored Miyeon and Minnie's vocals in this.
WOW!!! (G)I-dle really outdid themselves with Allergy and Queen Card MVs. Their Killing Voice appearance was HEAVENLY!!!! They were the first 4th gen Kpop group to be selected for the Killing Voice treatment, and they really showed why. They were so incredibly relaxed and playful during their performance--they really showed off their amazing chemistry. It was so refreshing to see Soyeon and Miyeon being so cheerful and playful, when they are normally more reserved and introverted. I am already looking forward to their next comeback!!!! ; )

I have watched a few people react to queencard already and no one I have seen realized that Minnie was lipsyncing soyeons part and I feel like it's important to the video seeing as Minnie is supposed to be soyeon (or the other way around) in the dream. Also I don't know if anyone else notice but there was also a lot of butterflies in their clothes and accessories and I think I was intentional because butterflies are supposed to symbolize transformation, beauty, love and other things.

Yes! KDA songs are great fun and the visuals are insanely good! Soyeon's raps in those songs are what led me to discovering kpop! 🔥🔥🔥 KDA is a virtual kpop group where real artists voice certain champions from League of Legends game who in the lore have formed a group. Soyeon's character Akali is in KDA the kpop group, and also in their hip hop group True Damage, their song giants is also worth checking out. Some great artist collabs on League's songs.

I didn't see anyone else mention it, but when they censor the curse word in Tomboy it's mostly cause South Korea has very strict rules for mainstream music. Some people can get away with it, but it's mostly male idols. For female idols, things are more difficult. Basically, they can't have a title track with a curse word in it since that track is the face of their album/comeback so it's being promoted everywhere. There are exceptions, but what is made to appear on TV has to be heavily censored. The promotions for Tomboy did include the curse word, but that was actually cause the TV channel didn't censor it correctly, they missed the timing lol Personally, I think that the actual beep in the track is specifically because of that, but I don't know if it's true or not.
I think they were to progression from 2NE1 to Mamamoo and then G Idol. Super talented and their songs are very empowering. Like some other kpop song's but these are the only 3 I care about. No hate at all. Just being honest. Also I love "Hann" but I think Park Bom crushed it on Qweendom!❤

Honestly all of these videos speak for themselves so I'm gonna say something slightly unrrelated😭idk if you've reacted to K/DA buy POP/STARS is actually a K/DA song. They're an animated group (miyeon and Soyeon both voice a character. They're music is honestly so top tier. They have different singers that have different languages come in for different songs. I highly recommend More and Popstars and then The Baddest is pretty good too❤ (I'm gonna look real dumb if you already checked them out😭)
