(G)I-DLE - 'I Want That' M/V | NEW (G)I-DLE FAN REACTION! 

My theory here is that Minnie is the main character and the other girls are just parts of her personality suffering abused moments of Minnie. Last shot we see Minnie (and her others 4 personalities, kinda bad moments of her life with the same man) shooting the abuser guy. So yeah, every one is Minnie here

Here is what I think happened Miyeon, Soyeon, Yuqi, and Shuhua are former lovers of the man in the video who started out fine, but over time became more monstrous and aggressive. There are theories that he ended the lives of those four based on their scenes in the MV. Drowning Miyeon, choking Soyeon, pushing Yuqi down the stairs, and crashing a car with Shuhua in it. Then Minnie enters the picture. Again, all seems well and that’s what takes us to the wedding scene. But here, she feels the presence of the four other women, and she sees the blood on her hands symbolizing that she might be next at the hands of this man. Her perception changes upon finding the truth about the man she was almost going to marry. Then cut to her aiming the weapon at his head. We cut to them all aiming, hence what they all wanted to do. Upon ending him, tension is relieved, and Minnie has seemingly rid the four other members of their pain knowing that the monster who hurt them is now dead. And lastly we see Minnie waking up on the boat by herself. The other members being there with her was just a dream. But in reality, she ended the life of the man, dodged a bullet, and did what she thought was right. Now the four souls of the members can live in peace, and can be with Minnie to provide strength and comfort for what she did for them and for herself. All in all, they tackled the very heavy issue of SA in South Korea which often goes under the radar and unnoticed.

Basically the Story is about a guy who dated the other characters in the past and killed them (that's what the flowers symbolise, death and funerals), we can even see Miyeon drowned in one shot. Shuhuha died in a car crash, Soyeon was strangled and Yuqi pushed down the stairs., When He wanted to do the same to Minnie, the ghosts of the others warned Minnie through a dream before her marriage, so she took revenge on the guy, for all of them. In the end, they are in peace and disappear.

They are so good at anything they do. This is an all English album. It is worth saying that they did not write or produce any of the songs on this one, but they are working on their next Korean album. The two theories about the MV that I don't think are right are: - that he killed them all except Minnie. We really don't see that in the MV. I think that comes from Miyeon in the pool, but she does move at the end of the scene. The flowers in the car are similar to funeral flowers, but she is also there, so i feel like they are for his funeral, not hers. - it is all a dream. I think you could make a stronger argument for this, but honestly it seems like a pretty weak plot, plus it is Yuqi reading the book alone at the beginning and Minnie alone with the book at the end. I think everyone is Minnie. At the beginning she is seeing things that bring back the memories of what happened, which is the MV. The relationship starts happy then they fight, are neglected and isolated, and abused. She has a psychotic break - in her mind this is happening to different people. In the end she kills him - you see all of them holding the gun but only her in the room. It's almost as if she's imagining she's not alone while she's doing it. At the end on the boat, she eventually wakes up and begins to realise that it is just her.

'I want that' is the title of the 1st English mini album from IDLE, 'HEAT' . There are 5 songs included ' I DO' the pre release single, ' Eye role', ' Flip it', and 'Tall tree'. For this mini album is collaborated between CUBE x 88rising. And this 1st English album that Soyeon and the members didn't write or produced by themselves. The founder and CEO of 88rising, Sean Miyashiro, also shared his excitement for collaborating with (G)I-DLE. He said that the recording company is a longtime fan of the girl group because of their creative tuning and involvement with the records they produce. He adds that this quality is valuable as it makes the music production process so much more meaningful. The vice president of 88rising, John Yang, complimented (G)I-DLE by talking about his first encounter with the girls. They were contagiously excited and positive, which he hasn’t experienced before, and this naturally made him enthusiastic about what they can bring to the table through this collaboration. He was especially appreciative of the group’s 24-year-old leader and song producer, Jeon Soyeon. Yang said to Billboard, “Soyeon knows what she wants and thinks of every member in so much detail for every song from the delivery of the vocal to the tone and the overall cadence of the song-she truly is a genius.” I think the next song that they will do self-produced again will be amazing after they've got new experience from many people outside their group that doesn't have close relationships.

My t😂heory: The other girls died by his hands but Minnie was a psycho just like him. Miyeon:He drowned her at the pool (the scene of her underwater and there is a part where they say "only see you when i came up for air") Yuqi: left him because of the toxic relationship and he killed her because she left (the scene of her in the leader) Soyeon: She did try to kill him with a kitchen knife but got killed instead (the scene where he walks past her and her expression changes) Shuhua: she didnt accept his proposal so he locked her in the car until she die (the scenes of her looking at the rain and at the end she's with a lot of flower-funeral flowers...) Minnie was the last one: he beat her up one day before they marriage and left her waiting at the church, so she got the flowers, hide a gun on it and a bomb on a bag, walked into the ofice where he works, killed him and blow the whole place up (she also died in the explosion, the final scene of they walking away is just the spirits) Sorry for the bad english😅

It's not officially a "Comeback", but rather a "Special Release", since it's all English and not aimed at the traditional Korean audience. It's still better than I hoped, and a beneficial addition to their discography.

The key points are that the same guy had dated or married each of the girls and that he was abusive. Minnie is about to marry him but we see that she has a cut on her face and has realized that she is making a big mistake. The other girls seem to be spirits who are watching over Minnie or using her to enact their revenge on the guy. The all-white boat and dresses with the book "such is life" would seem to be the afterlife. After Minnie kills the guy, her duffle bag bomb explodes and everyone in the room seems to be dead while Minnie and the 4 spirits walk away triumphantly.

(G)idol is a group that has known how to reinvent itself and each time they complement each other better, each one has had notable growth and I hope they have enough support to be able to stand out. In the international market, I hope that their international fanbase grows and consolidates so that they do not depend so much on the Korean public.

The theory I’ve been seeing a lot is that the guy in the video was in a relationship with Soyeon, Shuhua, Yuqi and Miyeon and he was abusive and ended up murdering them in different ways. Then he meets Minnie and they are about to get married but she finds out about him murdering the other girls, hence the scene where it flashes to Minnie in the wedding dress with the blood on her hands. So she now feels a duty to get justice for the other girls and murders him. Then the ending scene of them on the boat is portraying that their souls are finally at peace now because Minnie murdered their abuser. So yes at the end Minnie is alone on the boat and the other girls are there in spirit.

Minnie is just fine

I think, It's just her dream after read the red book 'c'est la vie'. This video show about her in different situation in violence to one women ' Minnie' who want the rally deeply love but that love it'l isn't like she want she was abused. and she try to escape or solve the circumstances in many way in her dream. The head shot is not real . Just erase him in her mind. ( You can see they ware the white outfit in intro and outro and the red book, they are act in different role). The video and lyrics have many symbolic to interpret. This M/V refer to the real Dometic abuse, someone said the guy is the serial killer. Miyeon died because she drowned so her spirit then wandered around the pond likewise Yuqi was pushed down the stairs to death. Soyeon was strangled at the wall. Shuhua dies in the car.Their spirit still been trapped at the place they died. the flowers held by Yuqi use in the funeral. Flower on the wallpaper and inside the car are flowers used to visit the grave in Korea... They protected Minnie and when Minnie killed the guy then their spirits free in the end. Miyeon 's vocal is so iconic in this song and Minnie is iconic in M/V. all they do good acting as before. Yuqi said she just meet the senior actor in the first time but she have to act like that 😭😭"Eyes Roll" and "Flip It" have the same vibes from the album. Only I-DLE could touch this topic, I also love Soyeon's eyes and Minnie's face and her high note screaming when she did headshot and also Yuqi and Shu in choreography.

The story, from what I know is that four of the girls got killed and Minnie was the fifith to suffer from the bad guy's hands, then she got revenge...the pistol shooting scene was like the other girls getting revenge with the help of Minnie

Btw, the ENTIRE album is INSANE.... it's definitely a no-skip type of album. "Eyes Roll" is a banger and "Tall Trees" is absolutely beautiful....

It’s the same male actor (a quite famous one too) . Think all other members are essentially all Minnie, representing different stages in their toxic relationship. And in the end Minnie “killed” the guy and finally bring herself peace.

It is confusing, but I tend to endorse the concept that the members, other than Minnie, are murder victims of the same serial killer. When we see them with Minnie, they are ghosts who can't move on because of their grudge against the killer--which is a pretty common concept in fantasy kdrama. At the end the ghosts are shown at peace because the grudge has been satisfied by Minnie killing the murderer. Then the ghosts can finally move on and they disappear.
