JP Draws I-. That’s not what people mean by “cultural appropriation”. Cultural Appropriation is when you lack knowledge or disrespect someone’s culture. Which is not what she’s doing by wearing braids. I get why people would say something like that because there has been many cases where idols have been bluntly racist and very disrespectful to certain cultures. In this case, if she doesn’t say or do anything that disrespects the black community then she’s fine. Please take the time to know the meaning of certain words before jumping to conclusions.

I just want to say that GIDLE deserves what they are currently getting right now. Like, they are still considered as a rookie group but they are always giving their best and they are so talented for a group that only debuted for almost 2 years. I'm so proud that they reached this far and I know in the future, they will get more recognition because they can still show more of their talents.

Why is everyone saying this is a specific member’s era? Literally everyone says a different member. Which concludes that this is (G)-Idle’s era. They all shined. Yuqi’s deep yet hooking voice in the prechorus (it’s literally so catchy), Miyeon’s godlike visuals and beautiful voice, Soyeon’s charismatic rap and vocal, Minnie’s unique yet hypnotizing voice giving the song a twist, Shuhua’s line that gave her the attention she deserves plus screen-time, and Soojin’s wonderful dancing and how she slayed the chorus. Stan (G)-idle. They literally are one of a kind gems that are hard to find. They are all special and talented and deserve much more.

Felixual you’re right, she could’ve at least been given a part of the chorus. Like Soyeon and Minnie sing the first chorus and Soojin and Shuhua sing the second one, but sadly they didn’t. And her screen-time isn’t so bad, but it could be better. I’m glad that her part gave her all of the attention and didn’t switch to any one else.

You can tell they're singing live just how real their " before starting the line " voice sounds like idk how to explaine it but it sounds so real not fabricated lip sinked or auto tuned

All 6 of them are singing live (except for the high parts in the verses) with backing tracks, and it's a wonder to hear. Soojin even messed up her first chorus a bit after a sudden dance movement, and I'd rather have a natural and honest performance like this over 100% backing tracks every day of the week.
