Empire is a pretty fun song! Wengie is a popular RU-vid content creator in Australia. I haven't listened to any of her music outside of Empire, but she sounds fine on that track! Gonggi is Korean jacks, and Miyeon is apparently actually pretty good at it (as she showed on Hyemileeyechaepa, a reality show that she was on). I've seen quite a few groups play it because it's one of those games that travels well and is easy to get a game in within a few minutes. The performance they're complimenting Soojin for is the "Put It Straight (Nightmare Version)" performance from Queendom. It'd gone viral by the time they were filming the Lion video. Wengie was a famous youtuber and singer. I have only ever seen the English version of "Empire" but I'm sure that the Korean version is out there somewhere. The official MV is the English version with 16M views. There is also a performance video and a dance practice video but neither includes Minnie.
