(G)I-DLE's Killing Voice was KILLER! (Reaction) 

She is a queen! She’s one of my favorite 4th gen idols.

What always amaze me about her vocals is how clean they are live. From start to finish she always delivered her vocals live the same way as on take. She is such a good artist.

definitely one of the big reasons why my favourite groups are gidle and mamamoo. so much variation in voices, style and personality!

Every little qurk and twist in her voice, she reproduce it so good!

She was born to perform, with the added bonus of being great at actually writing composing and producing songs

​​​​​​@@clara_lgrs1827 3rd gen started in 2013 and ended in early/mid 2018 and some units/members of NCT are considered 4th gen but NCT as a whole are 3rd gen (Wayv=4th Gen. YangYang, Hendery, Xiaojun, Jungwoo, Lucas, Shotaro & Sungchan are all 4th gen and NCT Tokyo will be 5th gen)

I can see that for some people her unique more high pitched voice can be wierd in the beginning, but to say its impossible to listen to, thats straight up hate.

Actually, I think I can give a somewhat objective response on this. Trained in voice for a year. Obviously, I disagree with the haters who hate on her voice. But Soyeon does naturally have a thin voice, a bright timbre, and favors a placement that essentially creates a little bit of nasality. I've heard one voice coach explain that he understands the divisiveness--- her voice can come across as sassy and bratty, but he explained that it's not a bad thing... it's just how her voice can sound and it's NOT something to hate on. Obviously, Idle has its main and lead vocalists, but Soyeon is a lot better than people give her credit for, and sings with so much confidence and personality. She's got a very keen ear as a producer and knows exactly the kinds of sounds she wants. I think a great example is whenever she sings "Oh My God"... the way she just leans it to it, it just has so much personality and character in it.
