Ok before people start saying the same old shit here about "why is it up to her??? make some new excuse" "ooh she gets so few lines, poor her", I recommend you using those same fingers to search more about it. She said she doesn't want many lines till she gets confident. Since the debut, Shuhua gets a lot of hate due to her accent, and on live stages she makes little mistakes as well, which only brings even more hate to her. I want you to think and tell me, would you be confident to sing for more than 10s receiving this much of hate?? Just think for a moment.
It seems more like her stans are using that as an excuse. You can't give us Lion & continue to say that it's okay to not give her lines. At this point it's Cube & her fault. Three years of this nonsense, and where's her solo activities to compensate? I see the other members doing stuff, but never her. She's a visual, right? Let's see some modeling promotion. At least then we can use that as an excuse.
I remember in Hann Era when she was heavy criticised by korean netizens for her vocals and lack of "hard work" in the group :/ she was so down bc of them that when they had their win on music shows she always was afraid to do her part :(

We neverlands understand that, but many people started hating on her again. Would you be confident after all that hate?
people throw hate on soyeon along the lines of shuhua and call her ignorant, shuhua doesn't have much confidence and has few lines in title. she has more prominence in bside (you can compare her in the bsides with soyeon, she only has rap and when she doesn't have it, she only has a singing line and only once)

I’m glad that she gets one song that she has second, and I know she’s not that confident in her voice, but she is one of the best singers in Idle besides Miyeon, Minnie, and Yuqi. I hope there’s a day where she sings the most in a song.

People use the same shitty excuse that she’s not yet confident or she doesn’t want lines or she’s still improving but even after 3 YEARS how tf can she “improve” if cube won’t even give her a chance? The line distribution is ridiculous Shuhua slayed in uh-oh and lion she even got a decent amount of lines in OMG but after that what happened? She doesn’t even get 10 seconds in dumdi2 or hwaa(actual lines not including her hwaa~ part). I love them all so much but this is really unfair Soyeon gets most of the lines and most screen time even though she is a sub-vocal like yuqi,soojin and SHUHUA (on average) Miyeon and Minnie are starting up their acting careers, Soojin basically has the largest fanbase, Yuqi has all her promotions and variety shows, what does shuhua get? Most of the (negative)controversies? I know I am biased because it’s obvious she’s my bias, but literally she could be an actress if given the chance she’s good at acting she took classes for it for God’s sake 🙄 and she has, what koreans perceive to be a pretty face. She could have variety shows like yuqi because I don’t know if y’alls noticed, she’s funny af. The way that shuhua is so under promoted/exposed really makes my blood boil. Note: I am in no way trying to blame Soyeon or any of the other members for her unfair treatment I am solely putting the blame on cube

For the people who are saying it's unfair for her let me explain you many Korean critics her Korean accent yet it Didn't give her enough confident on herself and G-idle are the one's who choose there parts and it's her who choose to not sing that much in the title tracks but when it comes to the b-sides she sings pretty well for her position like a sub vocalist so when she well became more confident we will see her sing more

Shuhua is so confident in variety shows but on stage, she kinda kills the vibes because of her blank facial expressions. At least she did good in Hwaa and hopefully she becomes mores confident in stage to the extent she starts getting better lines. There are so many foreign idols in Korea, including Yuqi and Minnie, so her not being confident in her Korean even years after debut just kinda doesn't look good you know...
But it's the truth. She's not confident enough and the hate comments just don't help her. Besides being a fan and really loving her (please nevies don't hate on me for saying this) she lacks stage presence and charisma, and she's not the best dancer in the group as well. Any of these things would give her some positive scores. But yeah in variety shows and v-lives she's great, she shows her charisma and her personality is gold
Unfortunately, not everyone will have affinity with+be good enough at fluency+pronunciation of foreign languages (even after decades of working in the country/industry), and it's not something that can just be completely fixed with practice. We all know that Shuhua is extremely hardworking and diligent when practicing for (G)I-DLE activities or work in general, so I would say it's just her weakness, similar to many others who struggle with spoken language. There are entertainers who ultimately never master the language of their country of work, but nevertheless work well despite those limitations. Shuhua needs to sing, however, so I can understand why she's being cautious regarding her lines, until she can deliver them satisfactorily. She's a perfectionist, after all. As for her expressions+performance, I saw that opinions are equally divided, so it's really up to personal preference.
well Shuhua did not train many years in cube ent to just make a video were she says uoh oh oh oh oh and Latatataatata i mean some other mvs she dont even have lines they need to treat Shuhua better i hope now that soojin is gone she gets more lines in the upcoming videos
(G)I-DLE has 6 members Fairest line distribution would be 16.6% Anytime someone passes 16.6+% in a line distribution in this group, gets the proof that she's sure not the last in line distribution. Shuhua surpassed this once.
