In their older songs ur not gonna get much of shuhua sadly. Back then she was not confident enough with her Korean Pronounciation and also got a lot of hate when they debuted bc of that. Thats why she asked Soyeon, to give her less lines. Shuhua had the shortest training period of them all, but over the time, she improved soo much. Its amazing. Thats why, we Neverland, were rlly happy when Uh Oh came out, cause this was the first song, where she got an actuall line. Since Tomboy she gets more lines which she definitly deserves.

i think you should react to ‘latata’ tomorrow, it’s their debut song. their debut was actually pretty successful and it made them engrave a name for themselves in the kpop industry. i think every kpop fan knows ‘latata’.

In their old songs, Shuhua doesn't get a lot parts because she's not fluent in Korean (it's hard for her too if she gets a lot of parts) so Soyeon always gives her the killing part instead. And she was satisfied with all her lines in all their song. And now she's showing more of her voice. Just to avoid misunderstandings when you react to their old songs.💖😊

Soyeon wrote the lyrics To Uh Oh before the song had a name, it was written for the people (netizens and industry business men) who said "she's talented but she's not idol material" and "talent wasted on someone not pretty enough to be an idol" but jumped on her as soon as she made a successful debut as a writer You can see it if you pay attention to the lyrics - "stop pretending to be nice and go away, you said you expected my success, that's absurd go away" and her rap verse "you were only looking for what shines and missed me who will light up the place". Trust me it pissed people off😂😂

And the males are like scared of Soyeon's power, so they go complimentin Shuhua, Soojin or Miyeon, but they say stuff like "Oh, their hair", "Oh, they're so cute", etc. But not you man, you're not scared of the toxic weird netizens. Uh-Oh was the reason why I got into (G)I-dle in 2019 💜💜💜 Their sound was just so unique and it was my first time hearing a retro hip-hop vibe in K-Pop, which is very uncommon since the more popular route is the EDM 💜💜💜 (G)I-dle makes every genre their own 💜💜💜 Soyeon is a genius and it's destined that she met all members with distinct and jewel-like voices 💜💜💜

Soyeon said in the interview that she wants to try challenging the "TROT" music genre for (G)I-DLE's next new song/album...

Different with many other korean idol groups, gidle always produces their songs theselves with great beats from the start of their debut(Soyeon is the first composer and producer in gidle, and currently Soyeon, Minnie, Yuqi are 3 composers and producers in Gidle). Especially soyeon is the top-class composer, producer popularly well known to kpop industry and people in Korea recent days. And Uh-oh is the song that Soyeon composed in her early career. If you feel something is missing, maybe it's because the song is composed in early stage of her career. Soyeon grows up more and more on her composing and producing capability as time passes. I cannot deny her beat has developed a lot.(though i love uh-oh a lot..) Just I am looking forward to their creative next album because they fill their albums only with their produced own songs since the i never die album of 2022. I think the strength of gidle is producing the songs on their own...

This song was actually created for both fans and haters, but mostly for haters. At first it may seems like an ex trying to comeback tho. Shuhua don't have a lot of parts especially on their earlier songs due to her Korean pronunciation and grammar. She was actually bashed on one of their previous song (earlier than this) by Kfans. Because of these hates, they created this song and have a series mocking these hate comments as well Some fun facts: -the "Uh-oh" was actually from one of their staff that always says "uh-oh~~~" just like the last line. They had fun with it so Soyeon created this song with that sound in mind. -Miyeon can barely open her eyes during the outside/motor scene due to the bright sun. You can notice it on her 2nd part. -Soyeon's mic was on REAL fire. She was so scared coz of the high platform, and the fire is so close to her face. But when the song started, her expression changed and just finished the shoot quickly.
