I agree. Lately Gijoe has been getting away with the awesome sculpts but a lot of factory issues. Like the nunchuk hand is fused. And the plastic is super gummy. There is no excuse for that when you own the license.
The advantage to you guys getting stuff before we do is I get a heads up on whether or not a figure is worth picking up. These are definitely on my want list now...
@@bigbacon9111 glad that you can see the positive side of things… There was at least a wave which didn’t arrive here first (Shipwreck & Co., those arrived here during late summer). And I’m still waiting on Mindbender and Serpentor, for example 😂…
Man, not the first time I’ve heard that… And I’m glad, as I admired him as an artist and as a person who made his way up. I guess we have a similar voice type, and we both speak with german accent… For the quotes I’d have to watch his movies again… It’s been a while…
I recently pre ordered it. I would love if the tan color Valkyrie was black too. Black and blue, seems like the classic colors I’m used too but it’s all good .
I've never painted anything before, but I'm thinking of repainting those tan bits... Gray? Blue? Black? Even red? I'll play with it in photoshop to decide.
Well, there you have a little project. Maybe they should have added the tan stuff as an option, an extra set of accessories, instead of forcing them in.
My army exists of squads of 3 & 5. So I can deck out the figures with some variety. I got 4 infantry and 1 trooper as well as 1 officer. 2 crimson guards "going to be 3" 2 bats 4 vipers & a viper officer. 3 python vipers + a python bat. Going to have 3 snow vipers with 1 or 2 arctic bats. So it is kind of squad based. I got 1 pack of these valkeries coming but ill get a second.
Everybody seems to hate the tan gear. I might try to repaint the straps red and the guns grey. Something like a Viper. I hope they make female versions of all the different Vipers.
I don't hate the tan I just think it clashes with the blue too much lol. If they release a desert or Jungle or even artic variant with a more blue friendly gear I'll swap said variant for the tan gear so ut doesn't go to waste.
Agreed on QC, I just sent a completely different figure back because a piece was off in the box before I opened it. Sure I could glue it down but some of these items are not cheap, we shouldn't pay hard earned money for an item and immediately have to fix it.
I think they’re worth that chance… so my minus for me is the diaphragm+abdomen articulation (it is a large minus, sadly). But they are nonetheless a cool pair of figures.
Little squads are as enjoyable as big ones. Especially since Hasbro is creating several army builders. These ladies look very good. I agree more hands is the next level improvement Hasbro can offer. Nice use of Zarana. I think Hasbro teams also use different factories. They have their own specialties.
I agree about you're take on the head scan espeshilly for a cobra army that in good theory should have folks from all races and all country,s that means we need some brown variations some black variations and yep some white variations before years of outside construction work I was about as pale as white guy pale can get not quit sheet white or fish belly white but close last so miny years though I've don tons of outside work for usually a minimum of 8 hours more likely 10 to 12 multiply by 5 tou get the idea any way I even pretty mech hid inside doing hardwood floors again and the Casper pale ain't coming back any way point being white has difrent shades as well so it would be damnd creative and kick ass if they provided more options ide love to have more native Americans maybe some kinda figures I could make like a mock up palace have a cat in the one headdress thing be like a sultan than if if I had the right white figures bam there's you're Arab sultan king guy with his varangean gard the vkings I purpously spelled viking the way its actually pronounced most people in America pronounce it allmost daily completly wrong and don't even have a clue there doing so cause they don't do there own research and thing any crap on there t.v. is gospel and 100% acurate any way ide love more obvious difrent racial face and head sculpts so I could build difent ameys of history and brother you're English is fine my grandparents/ mom,s mom and dad were from Denmark my dad's folks are redneck American I lived during school years 2 difrent years on 2 difrent native American/ Indian reservations and so my English even though iam more or less raised American is not allways perfect either espeshillay with a few drinks in the gut any way you're review showed all the proper stuff and you're English was not out of form on annunciation in the slightest so thank you brother keep kicking ass I dug it and so,s you know I hit the subscribe button and the thumbs up and will be checking out futer reviews espeshilly if they're as easy to digest and process as this one thank you youre English rocks dont sweat it 21:40
I ordered two of these. I love the new female buck they've created for these figures. My ONLY complaint is from a color design perspective. I understand that the tan creates an interesting contrast, but it doesn't match the color design of the original Cobra Trooper/Infantry or Officer. I would have largely preferred if they matched exactly. That way you could mix them together. Instead, they're more a separate squad from the troopers.
@@aliasangelalias Checked: They Are very easy to remove (turn the arms to the back and pull the harness and armband… The straps on the forearms are painted on though)… Gunholster just needs to be pulled down the leg, but for the belt you’ll have to heat the fig and pop the waist apart…

@@aliasangelalias If you put the figure into hot water for 12-18 seconds then you’ll be able to pull it apart without stressing of breaking pegs… Make sure you heat the abdomen again before pushing it back in…
Definitely has quality control issues across the line. Loose joints, tight joints, frozen joints. That tan is problematic. Dark blue would have even been acceptable, but light tan? You can always dye them, but thats took much trouble to go through really.
Why did they make all the ones gear that tan color?! Only reason I passed on these it looks terrible if I could just buy the one with black gear I would but not something I need two of and the tan gear with there uniform colors looks absolutely terrible and makes no sense at all
You may do it right, but you won't have the time to do it. Unless you want to work 60 hours a week and have release date be pushed back by months. People have such high expectations but don't realize there are lots of constraints actual toy designers have to deal with.
What you're asking for is tolerance test. It's a QA process that takes months to do. You ask for a change, they ship the product over, you test, you give feedback, repeat.@@galacticmanlarry582
