If it's the same unit or like, position in the army, i don't mind seeing reused parts, you know? It makes sense that some stuff would be sort of the same. Making sure they have different paint jobs and patterns already does the job and speeds up the release for us fans.
It cracks me up that the Flint and Duke figures are so close and reused when the show rarely had Duke and Flint in the same area or episode because kids would think they were the same guy. I decided to watch your channel because you were mentioned in a shartimus video and finally decided to check you out and I am so glad I did. Subscriber for life here.
I searched 'G.I. Joe Classified series' and this came up, I haven't even got the RU-vid notification yet! I've just got into the line with Cobra Commander, Zartan should arrive within a few days and I pre-ordered two Cobra Infantry and these two, I don't even know much about G.I. Joe but double jointed arms on a female figure was enough for me. Thanks again Robo, you're the one who got me into this line with your amazing reviews.
@@TheFwoosh Yeah, ever since I got Cobra Commander I've been addicted to watching G.I. Joe reviews whilst waiting impatiently for the other figures I ordered, but hey I got the shipping notice for my Cobra Infantry figures and Zartan arrived this morning and oh man, such a good figure.
They’ve always shared sculpts. If you look at the original 1982 line, the 12 male figures mix and match 5 heads, 6 torsos, 3 arms, and 3 legs. Only Scarlett is wholly original.
Thanks so much for this! When the line first started, I was only going to get just the characters I’ve always been in love with. But as I got those, IE: Snake Eyes, “Storm Shadow,” ”Scarlett, The Baroness, etc. I found that I was wanting the others as well. I was briefly on the fence with Flint and Lady Jaye, but after your awesome review I just ordered mine! And I had to break down and bite the bullet to get the RIDICULOUSLY expensive “Beach Head” and “Firefly”..... times are so different for us collectors, as in my search and destroy mission to find the ever elusive “Baroness” going to find figures physically in stores is a compete waste of time, I still haven’t found even ONE figure in a store, I’ve had to get them on EBay...

I'm not a G.I. Joe guy, but I'm digging this line. I just like the idea of using them as army guys for Marvel Legends. Jaye looks great and I love that head sculpt, and double elbows on a female Hasbro figure! Seriously, I'm tempted to get into G.I. Joe stuff now... this is dangerous for my wallet.
For me, Hasbro ruined the G.I. Joe Classified line by making Baroness--and a few others--an impossible to find Target exclusive. Impossible to find, because local managers can zero out their store's online inventory any time they want; local workers have been caught buying cases; and local workers will hoard stuff for their eBay scalper friends.
Employees are in on it too for scalping ? This is a isn’t right at all..... online is too overpriced . They can have this .and employees are allowed to sell to scalpers .there are people out shopping at target that are saving employees their jobs. Target should have what they are supposed to have

I actually just found the baroness with c.o.i.l. bike at target today after some dumbass put it in the clearance section for half price (yeah, I got her for $12).
So when I got mine I immediately took the vest off Flint and gave him a ML tactical chest harness which opens his upper torso completely, with Lady Jaye I swapped her belt with a more tactical one, gave her a chest strap harness and put the vest from SW Jin Erso after trimming the shoulders a bit, and lastly I painted the boots brown, just want the OG look
Great review bro as always, I just have to say that the tightness of the joints are better because it can be fixed or worked with but when the joints are super loose like the first release of snake eyes v1 and v2 very loose ab joint or shoulders, it's very hard to make them tight overtime or naturally.
I have gotten Lady Jaye but still need Flint. With the rumored 6" retro line I'm curious on who will be in it and what redos will show up. Got in late but numbers have build up for this line in my collection.

Robo Knows Joes! Awesome review on these figures. They do look fantastic and I can't wait to get my hands on them. I'm just hoping my local Target will get them in stock soon. I found Zartan and Cobra Trooper there which almost gave me a heart attack.
I passed on Lady Jaye when I pre ordered Flint, then I came to my senses and ordered her too! After seeing the accessories and how they can be stored, I’m so glad I changed my mind! Would have been good if they had made Flints chest piece removable, they could have made it attach in the way that Zartan’s scarf does. Oh and if they ever relaunch an animated series, I want you to dub the entire cast 😂
Love the video. Any chance you can do a short 'how to' video when you glue the belt on Lady Jay? Like what glue you are using, what you use to apply it, and what you use for clean up? Stuff like that. I tried to glue something for a Star Wars Black figure and it was a mess, the glue is all over the place. Thanks!
Wow, it's no surprise but I love these 2 figures. I was so excited to start collecting the classified Joe's but every great review that I watch makes me want them more and I can NEVER find them. I could spend double or triple for them but that gets hard on the budget.
At first, from afar, I thought that they over-corrected from the bright-techy stuff with Lady Jaye. She seems so bland, but up close there are a lot details that maybe could use a little colour or a wash to make them more apparent. I mean, I'm still happily going to get her!
You know I don't feel so bad not having Duke, considering I have Flint and he's 90% Duke already. Hopefully with the retro Duke announced they use different parts. I really love that you go through and highlight reuse because I overlook that. I would've had Duke next to Flint and they're basically the same figure.

From what I can see they knocked it out of the park with lady Jaye she looks amazing! While flints just an Eh not my favorite but glad were getting him.
I just picked both of these up today and both of them had super loose drop down joints on the left leg, jaye actually has a stuck drop down joint on her right leg, and both have really tight hip ball joints like yours.
I think Jaye looks like a great base for F.Greenshirts. That swap hair makes her even more customizable. I can see her being reused for Jinx and Covergirl with a jacket. . I just saw the Zartan case the other day at WM. Not in the mood, I passed, a couple hours later, all six were gone. OFW. First 6" Joes I've seen in months.

I really hope I can find these in the wild. I'm planning on using an X-acto on Flint's armor straight down the middle like I did to BeachHead and Roadblock, just to get a bit more range in articulation and display options.
Stunned to find these at Walmart today ... Haven't seen any other Joes, except the Cobra Commander I grabbed months ago, since last year. I don't really care about reuse as much on theses figs ... they're in military units ... unless I've missed some news real life soldiers aren't issued unique to them fatigues / uniforms all that often. So if two Joes that are really serving similar roles on the team have the same shirt / pants / gloves ..... not really that big of a deal. Even the weapons could be more uniform. They should probably consider making removable ( as in intended to be removed ) tactical torso armor though ...
Oh my GOD I’m only 17 but I grew up on Real American Hero. I had older action figures and oh my GOD this line is destroying me, because I’ve only got the repaint Scarlet (stupid distribution!!) and I saw pimp Destro once. I want MORE!!!

It's 3 days later and my Gamestop order of these two still say, "Awaiting product Availability." Zartan and Cobra Infantry were updated to "shipping soon" same day as release with tracking info showing up the next day. Is it my turn to get figures from a delayed batch this time? They charged me already so, I better be getting them.
I've only kept my Cobras at this point. The total lack of being able to find Classified on shelves have just killed this line for me. And seeing that Major Bludd is another Target exclusive, I just don't know if I'm even interested anymore

Underneath Flints armor piece the collar is a little ruber separate piece from the torso slight differnce in the actual collar and the medal that he has there
Jaye looks like great fodder Hmm I wonder how those pegless arms and legs are best taken apart Might also be a neat idea for a play day, to take apart an extra pegless figure haha
