I still try to be a high-functional addict, though. No actual drugs, just the things they prescribed me, trusted me with. People are the worst enemies of my addictions. I refuse to be on something when there are people who still care about me. It definitely bothers my struggling mind, it just wants to be alone and on something, just to forget that we exist. But the rational part of me doesn't want to stay alone clings to people like they can save me from doing harm to myself. It's not what the track is about, but I look at this particular line through my own perspective. And that is art, isn't it? Thank you for such a sincere music, G-Mo. Thank you for staying yourself. So many of your tracks give me courage to just keep going and face the challenges of living. I always listen to your songs when I'm outside (usually, it's always a disaster), they give me strength, courage and a bit of anger, just enough to help me through my experiences. Damn......this really hits deep, I remember playing Majoras Mask back in the day and being drawn to the darker tone that was present in the game. I really related to Skull Kid wanting to bring the moon down to destroy the world that shunned him. And the desire to hang out and party with the boys like I did when I was younger completely disappeared when me and my fiance had our son two years ago, everything I do is for him now to hopefully give him a better life. And it's funny how friends can't understand that i have a higher purpose in life now that I have a little one that depends on me to be strong for him. And it really sucks sometimes because I don't want to burden my fiance or my friends with the fight I wage against myself, sometimes I feel like a bad person because I just don't want to be hanging out with people or my family sometimes because I'm so focused on work that I lose sight of everything else and then I'm stuck with my own thoughts about how different life has become. Take away the parts in this song about being a rapper and that's my inner self in a nutshell. Keep doing what you do Gmo, this is real rap!!!!

I can’t stop coming back to this track. Emo Skee had a lot to say in such a short time and man, every line hit deeper. The flow, the cadence, the delivery all combined with the sheer volume of production, made this song float into my ears like magic and reverberate to my heart. My favorite thing about music is watching an artist take pieces of themselves and share them with us and in turn, we do the same and share pieces of us, with them.
