Rin Irsyarasyid well H.O.T is the most famous boy group back in late 90's and even Sechskies and other groups acknowledge them as the most famous boy group at that time. Did you know that Sechskies was formed to be a rival of H.O.T?

Hikari Sayako They don't go on shows as a fivesome anymore these days since reuniting. Most of the old vids aren't subbed in English. eng subbed ones I have seen are Intimate Note (3 members), Yoon Kyesang's One Table ep 11&12 (all 5 members), Healing Camp (all 5 members) and Handsome Men of the 20th Century (the episode where HOTSechgodRG invite their bandmates over and have a dance off).

damn they all looks so good. i like this concept. and they still look exactly the same....minus tae woo. lol. but tae woo looks better though. i'm so used to seeing yoon kye sang the actor that seeing him in a boyband is hard to digest. lol.

ho young look extremely the best, you can tell how cute and strong at the same time, he's the decision maker on his group , he's the deep thinker, i wonder which lucky lady who will Marry him someday... anyone know about Lee Jin from FinkL? what is she up to recently? i remember both are close friends. i ship both since Xman program back in 2004-2005. Time flies so fast.

Sam Canon In One Table and Intimate Note they have said that out of the 4 younger members Kyesang and Hoyoung are at the top of the "food chain" and even big maknae Taewoo listens to them. Danny sucks at winning arguments so he's at the bottom. 😂😂😂

I swear to god! Now that H.O.T reunited I was staring amazed at how Woohyuk looks the same he did in 1996, Kangta too. Or Shinhwa, Sunghoon and Jiwon and everyone from Sechs Kies, it's ridiculous!

Well technically it is only Danny because he is a softie and has a soft spot for the maknae. They have a so-called food chain and Taewoo ranks below Kyesang and Hoyoung who would've told him to piss off.

g.o.d is formed not to rival anyone. They would put them against shinwa bec they are the closes in debut period but knowing how g.o.d fought their way to the stage despite pre and post debut, they are all time legends in my book. Even during hiatus days, they came out victorious. They may not have the largest number of fans, but they occupy the largest part of my heart. They may not have won the the most awards but they have the strongest of hearts. They may not have released the most number of songs but their songs touch the soul. They may not be pick as the number 1 group of their era but they will always be The Nation's Group. Each member has different personality but they do not contradict each other, rather their personalities compensate each other. My generation, my g.o.d.. jjang!

@@mxgirl918hi, I am fangod from that period. at that time, fan god and shinwha fans were rivals. Cuz Shinwha was the only group that could compete with god. But god was top popular group after h.o.t retired even old people knew god members name at that time🤭.

You couldn't have known because Kyesang rarely ever talks about g.o.d unless he's with the other members. They're all well known enough that they drop the descriptor "of g.o.d" when doing solo activities.

Danny actually attended Seoul American High School in the US 8th Army garrison way back when. I was only just starting out in junior high by the time K-Pop was recovering during the 1997 IMF financial crisis, and remembered knowing that he was briefly an upperclassman!

These men are awesomely the best. It's a shame that I just got to know them and now crazily searching and watching videos with or without subs. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that I'll find videos with English subs.🙏🙏🤞🤞 They had the strongest bond, maybe because, they also had a very hard and humble beginning plus the things they've gone through. They even thought that they're the worst because they're not a visual group when actually, all of them aren't just talented but visuals, too! I hope someone can answer me. May I know the title of the song wherein fans go crazy when Son Ho Young sings it?

I haven't been able to find many English subs of their older shows and they don't do that many variety shows/interviews as a 5 nowadays anyway. There are more Chinese subs of their recent variety shows/interviews as a 5. I guess their strong bond might have also originated from the fact that they weren't forced on each other like in some companies' training systems. They auditioned, they stuck it out when things got rough, they chose to stay in contact while on hiatus, they chose to endure a logistical and contractual nightmare in order to reunite as 5 again. Btw that song is called 다시 (Again).

@@mxgirl918 You are absolutely right! And I so respect their relationship as brothers as they are indeed a family. I found an old video of Come to Play and luckily, it's subbed. Son Ho Young said they don't really fight because they have a father figure in the group and I can sense their love for each other was so sincere. And everytime I watch their videos, it always touch my heart. They goof around, share a good laugh and the love shows with just how they look lovingly at each other. @@kimleepark9078 I find it hard to reconcile Joon the dad of g.o.d and Joon aka Wassup Man. He's definitely their father figure because when they were trainees with almost zero funding from their company, he was the legal adult having to look after 4 teenagers. On his IG whenever he talks about the members he would wax lyrical about how the dongsaengs were just boys when they first met and now they're all grown up and how he feels so proud of them etc etc. 😂

Joon debuting back then made it a bit weird for everyone. He's older than JYP and Hitman Bang, same age as Yang Hyun-suk and older some of the best known MCs and hosts such as Yoo Jae-suk, Lee Hwi-jae, Shin Dong-yeob, etc. And Joon was quite Americanized so he was super chill while everyone else was like "which speech level should I use with you" 😂

Finally god concert ticketing is opened even foreigner also can buy. But problem is concert place is only for Seoul and Busan.. so even I cannot go😭 I am Korean who living in Singapore so..I'm requesting G.O.D's overseas tour concert in their official SNS. They don't seem to know that they still have a lot of fans abroad.
