Eugene's sister is taught by him to say "thank you" to Shin in the library, because that's what you should say whenever someone does something nice for you. In the finale, after receiving the picture of her brother, she says "thank you" to Shin. Throughout the show the fountain in the lobby of the Alba headquarters is shown to slowly fall into more and more disrepair, starting clean but soon filling with beer bottles and cigarette butts, springing a leak etc as a parallel to Lena's naivete wearing down. Albrecht, the mechanic, hid his eyes with a clipboard after being struck with a ball in one of Fido's flashbacks, keeping his eyes hidden so no one would recognize him as Alba until their final mission.
