He should watch the Gura's Mario Kart Arc it's truly a must watch. Also he should see how some of the girls take Splatoon even more seriously.

I know chat gave a brief overview of "black companies", but for a more in-depth cultural background, it comes from the convergence of two unfortunate business ideologies in Japanese culture: 1. If you are the last to arrive (even if it's before the official starting time) or first to leave (even if it's past the official ending time), you're seen as lazy. Thus, everybody in the office plays a sort of "who leaves first chicken." A "black company" will abuse this mentality to overwork its employees with "well, if you're all here anyway, might as well do more work." 2. Quitting a company (even one known toabuse #1 to overwork its employees) is seen as disloyalty and makes other companies less likely to hire you on the basis of "well, you left your previous company in less than a year. Why should we believe you won't do the same to us?" And thus, once in an abusive "black company", it's very difficult to get out. As this video showed, Lui mentioned taking the first train in to work at 4am and the last train home at 1am, meaning at best she was able to sleep for 3 hours, assuming she slept on the train, which is very dangerous for a woman.
