*for anyone watching this to prepare* I took the test today, and passed! The route is exactly like this video, except once you return to Notre Dame after the highway, and go back onto Lasalle, you turn left at an intersection just after the cemetery. I did no parallel parking, 3-point turns or emergency stops (due to the temporary change for this test). It was super easy. Make sure you keep the speed limits, check mirrors often and turn your head! Not just your eyes!
Did they get you to reverse back into parking spot when returning to the drive test centre at the very end? Or were you able to pull in park? And wondering if they get you to park on a hill / with or without curb/ ask what way the wheels would be etc ?
Passed today. Remember to look at your mirrors a lot. This is why i failed the 1st time. The route is the same just when you leave the highway back on to Lasalle i made a left at the kwik mart back to the drive test centre. Good luck everybody :)
@@lindaukpele4044 everyone I know whose a horrible driver, but took drivers Ed, has been passed by Gary. Everyone else I’ve known has been failed by him. He’s ridiculous.
I'm sorry, the time has passed too long, I don't remember too well. I only remember that the speed limit is 50 for city roads and 80 for “highway”, and there is no speed limit sign on the road just out of the test center, so the examiner will tell you the speed limit. You can check the specific road speed limit on Google Street View according to the road map at the end of the video. I am glad this video can help you!
I 'failed' this test the other day because I, and I quote: "Didn't move my head enough when checking mirrors and blind spots." I assume you passed this, how much do you move your head for that?
@@Unknown-oh3il Yes in Sudbury, not precisely the same route, but it was the same up to the return from the Lasalle/Notre Dame intersection. I just need to know how much they expect you to turn your head, cause apparently I don't do it enough. I did fail the big donut-shaped off-ramp from Maley, but that's not what failed me. I'm not satisfied with my performance *there*, though in my defence I've never been on one that looks like a donut before. What really gets me is being penalized for having good peripheral vision. So, with no shortage of irony, I have to move my head more for the test.
@@jono3952 I think you have to over exaggerate the shit out of it, so it’s very obvious that you looked and turned your head…that what’s everyone tells me. Did you have to do 3 point turns, parallel parking or emergency stop? Cuz I know the temporary change for the g tests are going on right now, just wanna make sure they are actually not gonna make you do it.. and if you don’t mind me asking, after the Lasalle/Notre Dame intersection, where did they take you? My test is on the 14th :/
@@Unknown-oh3il Just did the second try today, passed, by a thin margin. I was having to remind myself to move my head to check the mirrors, so that's probably where I lost points. No three-point turn or emergency stop. They had me turn left at the lights next to a corner store after the cemetery and go through the subdivision there back to the test centre.
@@jono3952 hey, my test is next week. If you don’t mind me asking, did you need to back into the parking spot when you got back to the drive test centre, or did you just have to pull in? I failed back in December for not looking around enough also ugh. I’m hoping it goes better this time!
@@Andre_Ducharme99 down Lasalle, took a right turn at notre dame, drove on the highway for some time then did 3 point turn, came back to notre dame, turned right at Cambrian height etc. It was pretty easy
