@Geek peek 40, What exactly are you asking? The G-Scale Curved Switches/Turnouts can be used as manual switches or with switch machines for remote, or push-button operations.
@@305KSL PIKO uses the European traditional hook and loop coupler, but you can easily swap a PIKO coupler with a Kadee or other brand. The couplers are an easy change and are at NMRA standard coupler height.
@@PIKOAmerica If I get two Piko #38104 Santa Fe Freight Train Set. Do you think 2 of your 0-6-0T Saddletank steam locomotive can pull 10 intermodal car.
@@305KSL Hi, feel free to ask some of these questions via our support email. (support@piko-america.com) Our support personnel are pretty good at responding and should get back to you quickly. (Email or phone would probably be a better place for these questions so we can give you more detailed answers.)
Mike I am not exactly sure what you are asking. Each switch, when wired, throws within less than a second. If you are asking about speed with which you can run your trains, you will find that PIKO switches have numerous features that make running trains easier, and of course spring loaded switches make it far less likely you will have derailments. As to the overall speed you can run, that depends on your "Need for Speed" and what equipment you are running. (I hope this answer helps?)
@@danpikoamerica7314Infornation is allways good. Im just getting into the G Scale scene with trains. When the train is approaching the switch, what is the maximum speed the switch can handle without derailing.
@@mikemontgomery5649 I am not sure if there is an official max speed. In general, I have seen trains go well above 100 scale mph, however it really all depends on the front axle of the loco or cars being used. PIKO switches have fine points and many features to reduce derailment issues, but nobody can say you would never have one.
