Running a channel with just one brand can be tricky for content, especially when that brand doesn't really do an awful lot of events or release many new cars. I love cars generally and the chance to go and have some fun in them will never be turned down, regardless of brand. If VW did something like this then of course I'd be there in a flash but MB should be applauded for this level of investment in the UK and the best bit, it's free to enter and the driving is not expensive.
Really enjoyed the video Andrew, I’m a member of Brooklands museum just around the corner from MB-W and often pop in for a few hours and a tasty bite to eat, it’s truly an amazing venue 👍 Coincidently for my Birthday, I was recently given a voucher for an hours AMG 63 driving experience, going in a couple of weeks, I’m really looking forward to it.
deutscheautowizard? 🤔 😆 That was really good fun to watch. I am amazed that it is free entry! The driving experiences look very cool. If you really want to have time to experience a car, this looks like a great opportunity to do so. Looking at the training you both got. Most car sales places let you test drive a car for say 15 minutes on a domestic road. You never really know if you like said car, yet they expect you to buy it based on that 15 minutes. I think that once you have been in that Mercedes E63S, if the money is available, you would be sorely troubled to say no.
Oh look a Mercedes Tesla. Oh look a an LED strip bridging the headlights. When will car manufacturers stop blindly copying each other? The bland, cut and paste design ethos today is mind numbing. I miss the days when you could look around and enjoy the myriad design statements they prided themselves in producing. True, there are some differing design elemnts left but it seems they are slowly becoming the new Ford Model A. MBW is just up the road from me. I've only been there to get my AMG fixed but the place is cool. Great video as always. AMG cars are amazing I loved owning mine. But I'm happier in my Golf R that does everything just slightly better.
Always good to get diversity into a channel and Mercedes, being a competitor to VW, is a logical option. Looks like a good day out, I've always wanted to go to Brooklands anyway and MB World with a driving experience looks like fun, even for my non-car enthusiast other half(!)

Interesting.. Nearly did my apprenticeship with Mercedes but as a big VW fan- have gone to VAG instead and now am working with Skoda. Both Mercedes world and Wolfsburg are both on the bucket list!
Wolfsburg is a long drive and it's not so easy to get to drive anything (I think there is or was an off road course) but it's worth the effort if you are a VW nut. MB World is a lot closer and you just need to like cars. Conclusion - visit both!
Because the views were really low in the first hour and both and I and people at MB world had put a lot of effort into the visit and it was disappointing. Tweaked the title hoping focus on the cars rather than MB world itself would draw people in but no. Probably not a good weekend to post is all I can conclude. Poor views mean less chance of more diverse content on the channel which can't survive on VWG content alone so quite disappointing all in all. A shame as MB world was genuinely one of the most interesting, welcoming and best value petrol head experiences I've come across in the UK. And yet everyone goes to Caffeine and Machine...
