I am Korean and I still remember when I was in love with 2019 G2. I was so happy to see a glimpse of it last night

G2 would be soo much better if they had competition in the region to push them

Imo G2 for the first time in a while showed what it takes to beat an eastern team. You have to be volatile, aggressive, and unorthodox. T1 constantly looked uncomfortable and not expecting what G2 would do next. Half the time G2 play would be an int but the other half it would be amazing. This feast or famine play style is what it takes to upset, and G2 is definitely the best roster in terms of individual skill in the west and this playstyle is their shot at winning. This is what I felt like was missing from G2. NRG had this play style, but they didn't have the talent and they have tons of rookies so it makes sense. I think whats clear though is west cannot win a teamfight. G2 was losing teamfights with mega draft and scaling advantage and 5k gold leads. West has to be aggressive and unorthodox. Don't let eastern teams get a classical LoL game centered around 5v5 objective fights. Play the map and play fast.

G2, as always, is the *only* western team that stands a chance

G2 against either TES or GEN after beating PSG, idk. I can see them beating PSG. Idk the matchups well for them to go against GEN. Everyone assumed that G2 will have a close match against TES.

Mikyx poppy was so scary, faker was constantly shutting it down in game 5

Caps and Miky talked about everyone talking too much in clutch moments. I think that's actually the issue, cause even in LEC we hear many times BB or Yike spamming ''we win, we win'' and G2 keep pushing. But in LEC they usually win, while LCK and LPL are happy to punish over-extends.

Yeah their movements on the map is better than T1. They just need to be more decisive.

I really want to believe G2 can beat the Asian team but idk, still can't believe it yet, if G2 can beat the Asian team like how last year T1 beat the LPL teams at World, then yep

G2 pushes T1 and all of a sudden the west can beat the top Asian teams from the top 2 regions. PSG pushes TES and barely gets a mention in anything.

I mean because it is a lane swap meta where you can not lane and just rome and swap. Just like 2018-2019 where you can ignore the laning that is why they are matching. West are bad at laning so a meta where you can just not lane is their only chance.

The only reason this wasnt a 3-0 was because faker absolutely ran it down in games 2 and 3. Probably hes worst perfirmance on paper in his entire career. T1 were probably at like 30% of their usual mechanical level. Oner was no where this series and even on Lee Sin he almost single handedly threw game 5 if not for faker. Rly rly bad performance from them, just 2 clutch games from faker but the rest was garbage. Its nice that G2 has hope though, the reality will hit real hard real soon though.

they couldnt beat t1 in one of the worst levels plus the first 3 games of faker were ones of the worst games he ever played and they couldn't even beat them. It's never gonna happen just f close the LEC
