The first among the two videos comparing a Royal Enfield G2 bullet and a B series bullet. This episode stresses on the spares and strucrual comparison #royalenfieldindia #royalenfield #oldbullet
Theres a correction in one of the aspects that I had mentioned. When I said heavy crank B1,the intention was to differentiate the same from the lighter Cranked B that came after 72.Comparatively the G2 crank overweighs the B1 in the review by about 600 grams.
Hi Bro you mentioned that in 56-57 it was part British part Indian ...is it correct, I thought till 62 it was fully British..post that part Indian part British.. Please put light on this
After 56 its part Indian part British yes.Have added all the dates and what all spares were manufactured in Madras till 62 in the comprehensive G2 video. It includes the frame, muguards and a few other parts..
@@SonofagunG2 From 1956 British built bikes used a different frame altogether , The frames in your video are the old type and are made with the old tooling sent to India from england.
Hi Bro, I was just checking out the difference between the engine case of G2 and B series bullets. I own a 72 model, in mine, I found the provision for pressure relief valve bolt and drain bolt which is closed rather than what we see in post 75 models. can you explain this?
@@SonofagunG2I have the same concer, BTW your videos are great. Tell me one thing, which one is best for daily office commute of 70 kms. G2 or B1 ? I am seeing so many Bseries being ridden to commute to office.
Wonderful...my father used to have a G2 before 1992..then he bought a b series...he told me that the main reason for departing with the bike was its head gasket were not available easily then... according to him the engine head of G2 were bigger/ wider...can you please check with a veteran expert that is there was any difference in head??
Really good comparison as i have a g2 thats stock and family heritage i can tell the diffrence pretty quickly but sometime i also got confused when my friend was buying one from andhra heres a quick look all g2 that were made in england had a marking on front fork chasis that marking cannot be replicated also it indicates the year of manufacture if its stock also i noticed that due to wear and tear those marking kind of scratch but its really hard to diffrentiate between the engine if a well put b1 engine with g2 marking alot of people and expert might get a second opinion this channel is really dedicated toward g2 owner also try covering stories of owners it might boost up.
Good video. You are doing great. Please make a video on staring the bullet and backfiring of the kicker. My friend who has a bullet which is 1975 model, got backfired by the kicker on his legs. Please make a video on this. It will be very useful and the neutral finder while we are about to stop the bullet.
Anand were the G2's & G engines simultaneously produced ? The G series were produced from 1946 to 1954 ( the ones with the same construction as J2(500) but with a single exhaust end )! Very informative video. Keep up the good work !
Heavy crank bullets came till the year 1975 with V-Cut triangle shape above clutch case and 3 screw type breather pipe, except that it did not have oil drain bolt behind timing case and pressure relief bolt. Definitely G2 crank weighs more than B1, but B1 series engine from 1971, 1972 and 1973 had the same crank weight as B series engines manufactured at year 1974 and 1975
Basically if you ask me about heavy crank bullets. 1960s G2 had heavy crank. B series engine 1971 to 1975 had heavy crank. 2007 to 2010 Has heavy crank. But the crank shaft from a 500CC Cast iron engine Bullet weighs more than a G2 Crank shaft.
@@Kungan_Harishraj2406 bro in both comments u mentioned particularly. B1 series (FROM) 71 ,72 1970 come under??? Plzz help ,. M lil confused here Thank you
Please make a video on exhaust note/ sound of vintage bullets, some people say bullets weren't very loud while some say it was loud. Please clarify this. Thank you. Love your videos. 🙏👍
You have vast knowledge of bullet..also sharing that precious knowledge is very praiseworthy..I have one question..Is it possible to install a self starter in a 350cc CI engine.. Thank you..
Its possible at an expense but not without altering the basic nature of a CI engine..A well tuned bullet works as good as a self start bro.Just need a feather touch... Thanks for watching ...I am trying to learn and sharing the things I learn in here at the same time.. Not an expert by a long distance...😄😄
I will now recheck my B1 . And akso eagarly wait for the second episode . The bullets by enfield india did not evolve becoz of no available competition at that time . Neither the people would have purchased .
@@SonofagunG2 the company even did not bother to quality check the metallugy . So , i like to call them replica of Royal Enfield bullet s by Enfield India . Untill the UCE came into existsnce under the lawfully purchased brand name . Almost all other indian youtubers may be uninitiated of this aspect
Good comparision and expansions on each points... Waiting for part 2... Thanks for uploading... Please make a saperate video of comparision of heavy and light cranks with weight and real pictures, pro.s and cones of both... Take your own time but deeply clearity is highly appreciated....
I have 2 1976 model one is Jan registered and another one is July... Jan registered is a B engine but without the prefix B. Where as July is normal engine.... My mech said the B and G engine have triangle like shape and 3 screw for breather hose....
Thats just one thing to note bro.You can check my how to identify G2 video and am sure things will be more clear. And both the 76 serials should ideally start with B and end with suffix 6AX and 6GX .... 76 models have a cast in breather and not a three screw one...
@@SonofagunG2 okay bro but mine is with tringale shape beneath the point and 3 screw breather.. my mech said till 75 B engine was in production and maybe in 76 u would have got some left over engines without the B prefix.... so I'm not sure wat it is.... Your bullets are awesome... can u share me ur number I will send u my 1976 Jan bullets pic.. cuz july bullet is with my brother he is army...
Anytime bro. Nd looking forward to watching the part second. Replying to each comment with such humbleness, such a noble soul u r. Whr do u draw so much of knowledge nd humbleness from?☺️😊
@@DeepakSharma-fv7nb your comments are so overwhelming and generous.. Thanks a lot..I am still a novice in this vast ocean..Would really wanna learn further..
I always felt the g2 series were shorter in height which make it feel easy and nimble, specially the front forks and rear shock absorbers feel a little shorter. The 80s model feels taller. Please correct me !
Amazing !!! its knowledge enhancement bro :) you mentioned this might not be authentic ...hold on !! yes it is Authentic information what you gave here ... Appreciate your great work ..:)
Sir u should speak clearly, as u speak so slowly and in a mild tone, which gets difficult to understand everytime, so please work on this and speak loud and clear..Apart from that ur videos are amazing ⭐
Will definetely work on that side..before I wa getting some feedback that I was speaking too fast and it was difficult to follow..thats why the deliberate attempt to speak slowly... Thanks for the suggestion
Super accurate content and very nicely explained ! I generally enjoy your videos , just answer me What is point in owning vintage motorcycle as it would turn as baggage in life ! Instead leave peacefully and enjoy ride on modern bikes ? (I own 1962,1964,1970 with pristine original spares) so I feel like that!
@@msharief6273 I feel G2 and early bullets are to be used as a secondary bike and not be ridden for fuel economy and efficiency. The thump, the vibration on hands, the feeling of the torque while riding, all iron construction without any fancy plastics, all mechanical and electrical parts without any sensors and electronics, superior ride comfort, easy maintenance if you have a talented mechanic. These are some of the things that are not seen in modern bikes. Modern bikes are created keeping fuel economy, efficiency and pollution control in mind. The weight reduction is done by using too much of plastic, cast iron cylinder are replaced by all alluminium construction which took the thumping sound away. If you ask me I would keep a G2 for vintage riding feel and a modern bike for daily use.
Hello 🙋♂️ man love your video I have to ask you a question that i have a 1996 model b series RE bullet 350 the question that is my bullet as high quality as a G2 bullet and how can I increase teeth count of front sprocket so i can have some more cruising speed. is changing front sprocket a good or a bad idea.? Hoping for an answer thanks
Have heard such rumors before but no practical experience.. So cant really say.. Evey CI bullet is good...don't really think the sprocket alone could make such a change..
@@manojpanigrahi6961 yes it does you can check it here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wcT5qi74SAw.html the sound on this video is less but in real it gives great thump
Help me if you can I have 1964 military retired bullet and civil transfer in 1984. Engine and chesis number are the same and started with B mark on them.how come it possible B mark on 1964 model. I am searching for history but can not get satisfactory explaineation. Looking for your expert advice. Please guide with references
Hi your voice also like a 1960 Bullet sweet and slow 😊 I have 1982 model Enfield India I observed 1960 cranek is very big compared to 1982 model, and sound beat also very slow, 1982 sound low and very fast, may i correct?.
Yup you are correct as G2 crank is heavier than B1 so a larger amt of Energy is Required to rotate the mass, and the G2 crank produces a flywheel effect which is responsible for more sober idle rpm and high low end torque. Hope this helps
Bro my favorite is G2 but near to my location i got B1 1970 model shall I buy it. Both riding fell should be same or different? Please let me know, after your suggestion I have to buy 1970.
