If G2 play the same early game at msi, then they are gonna get rolled fast. BDS had quite some leads early on and a better team won’t allow G2 to come back in the midgame.

Many flaws in your reasoning. First, the results itself is not a reliable indicator of performance against Asian teams in the future, because it doesn't tell us much about the overall level of LEC teams. While I do not think it's the sole reason for G2 losses in spring, I could theoritically argue that it is also due to LEC teams being better than before, which could be a good thing for G2 as they need to be challenged. BDS displayed a better level than ever before, so did FNC when they won their Bo1. Both teams are weaker than G2 on average, but on these days, they did better than usual. In other words, G2 being undefeated doesn't help at all if the reason is just LEC teams being terrible. Now, this idea of being devastated seems a little bit weird. First, I don't see how being devastated helps any team, it's really the worst mental state to be in approaching a competition. Then, they just qualified for grand finals, ofc they are happy, that's literally an instant biological reaction, you do not have time to reflect on the whole level of LEC 30 seconds after ending a Bo5. If you think that kind of reaction tells us much about G2 mindspirit regarding their chances at MSI, you may just be overthinking this. Regarding their performance, I could agree there, but let's be serious, any cope of yours is not on LEC teams anymore, if ppl still think LEC and LPL/LCK are playing the same game, it's their own delusion, it's on them, To be honnest, the "it will be a disaster" predictions are just laughable at this point... I mean yeah... fire burns... and I'm pretty sure you don't watch minor football teams with the expectations of them beating the absolute best in the world.
