@Mirai FNC hasn't been a threat to G2 since 2020. If beating this iteration of a struggling FNC in standings is your idea of a good season, well... then g2 might be the team that's doomed at MSI more so than any other team.

I did not see anything superb in this game neither from mikyx nor from hyllisang. You could argue that the mikyx thresh and hylli's blits game were a good support performance but the rest were a competition on which support is going to make the more mistakes.

MAD needs to win 2 more B05's in a row (Vitality lower bracket finals and BDS in grand finals) to qualify for MSI but I dont think MAD will win 3 B05's in a row. I might be wrong but only time will tell.

@@tzuyuhypetrain9791 MAD had two ways of getting to MSI: winning the split themselves or G2 winning the split.

The thing is, Kennen can be answered but they did it in a horrendously bad way. An immobile adc? A Jayce vs a Wukong jg? An immobile mid? No peel supp? etc

kennen is strong right now.. but you can counter pick kennen and he is not game-breaking.. if you don't ban him, you can't really pick a melee champ top blind and you will have more range match-ups if he is first picked or if he is open - Akshan is considered a hard lane counter, sion is good into him, Cassio good...problem is that most top laners have gone ape mode and can only play one-two style of champs - BB (although his champion pool is technically considered quite wide) is chief among the apes and likes bruiser carries (and Ornn xd)..his range champs are nearly non-existent (consisting of Jayce (in range form) and gangplank, yep that's all of them - played Kayle one time I think, tried Akshan today first time, played a game or two of Lucian and Ryze like 4-5 years ago)... in other words: kennen can be countered, kennen is fine when you know how to play ranged tops which is something most tops today have never learned or unlearned the past 4 years, kennen requires a lot of set up/flank for engage, he sucks when team is behind (and you should be able to get him behind when you play Jayce, Akshan well - which BB did NOT)..just pick Sion into him if you can't play range and its still fine

Yeah bud try picking Kennen against LCK or LPL team, you would get destroyed before 10mins. People may seem think a champ is broken, but lets be real here Europe or NA just doesnt have the brain and skill to play against it.

Ye he has been coming online last few games! Some amazing stuff, even solo plays.

To be fair, his laning phases were pretty poor. But he performed really well in team fights.

He was better than usual. He still made mistakes, though. He got solo killed a couple of times and made some weird positioning errors... other than that, he played well. I think Nisqy and Elyoya were carrying this team though, they gotshit done.

EU was really awful in winter split. It's why no one would ever make a team qualify based on the first month and a half of league.

Calling VIT inconsistent while MAD LIONS are 100% more in consistent. 😂😂 it was just a huge Top, Mid, Jungle GAP. if MAD were consistent they could have ended the series 3-0 instead of 3-2. Take a look back at FNC vs MAD they were almost 1-2 seconds away from getting demolished. They're just lucky.

MAD are not that good at all and if they ever play slightlly worst than they currently did, do you think they even stand a chance to match teams such as T1 gen G kt at MSI ? G2/Vit/BDS are the top 3 lec team and MAD are probably worse than many teams they've beaten so far as they're not showing much. Most of their wins are due to their opponents throwing the games away. This is not gonna happens against good teams. We'll see during their match against vitality and BDS how they do.

It is due to points earned during Winter and Spring. G2 got the most points from Winter while BDS and Vitality were badly ranked. So, unless BDS and VITA beats G2 they're not having more points than them to reach MSi. It would be different if those team were ranked 2nd and 3rd instead of MAD.

Nah man, game 3 was a deserved loss since they really just played bad, game 2 was salvageable but their draft was a bit too sus. Game 5 was just outright draft diff, no amount of skills can get jayce cassio to work against a kennen wukong comp (unless a mega-int happens). Their coach and his super great drafts are giving me T1 MSI vibes.

Visual bug when Akshan swung into fog of war, the indicator on MADs screen indicated the bullets were coming from the opposite side which is why you see the team group to the bottom side of Hyli

I second that, literally looked like a solo queue, with perma engage and no coordination. It's not that MAD played that one particularly well, it's G2 who played like a group of random.

G2 are still going to MSI as the second seed. The winner of the split will go as the first seed. Vitality, BDS, or MAD will be first seed

Mad Lions didny play it that good too, Nisqy wasnt much better. Yike, BB and Caps choked altogether. They got nothing to look for at MSI in this form
