after seeing that play i even said to myself, "they lost the game." Just cuz of how much mental damage that must of done, like bro is checked out after that.
I’m a korean T1 fan since 2016 and this have been the most entertaining LOL video I have ever seen lol. Hope G2 could make it through quarters. They really are a good team but they should care more about the tempo trap. I think that it is the biggest gap between G2 and the best LCK teams then mechanics or game plan. Acknowledging it and making sure you don’t die alone awkwardly is important for the tempo of the game. And it seems like eastern teams get more advantage of it against western teams.
This is the funniest fucking finals I've ever watched thanks to you, never watched you before but might have to start 👍 (Looking forward for payment scandal between mikyx and T1)
Why didn’t Yike go for elder steal? He has vision, flash up, and it’s low HP. You cannot defend elder + baron + mountain soul push lol. You need to go for the hero play or else losing is inevitable. Also getting outsmitted by Vi through Nocturne Paranoia is embarrassing. Massive jungle difference.
He would’ve just die for free going for it. Jhin 4th shot is more than smite. It was over either way after they lost the elder fight. Maybe he thought they could defend against the push by engaging first but t1 pull the trigger first so he ended up engaging on by himself.
@@oreoyo5639 You can say the same for Oner's Baron steal. 3 inhibs down with 40s death timer would've been enough to end for some teams, even with the steal. Yike going for the steal is better than conceding for free because of the kill potential. Gnar, Ori and Kaisa with Elder is quite lethal. But ofc at the end of the day it was a team decision. They probably thought they would be able to miraculously hold off T1 somehow against double buff.
@@oreoyo5639 And Vi going for steal against nocturne paranoia all by herself wasn’t her dying for free? Vi went for the steal because if G2 got baron there, the game was over. The only way T1 can defend from that position is if Oner somehow miraculously steals baron and holds. That’s why that was a good call going for the steal. Similarly, Yike MUST go for this elder steal. Why? Because if he does not, then the game is over, G2 cannot defend against T1 with Elder into Baron + Mountain Soul. Yike dying or rather being alive does not change the outcome of the game, as you saw, so it’s better to try and flip an elder steal at the cost of his life which could potentially save the game.
@@notdesmondesmond If they think they can hold off against Elder + Baron + Mountain soul, they’re even dumber than I initially thought, especially given they are against a team of better individual players. Even if you put the best team against the worst team in this same scenario and gave the worst team Elder + Baron + Mountain Soul and ran out 100,000 simulations. At least 999,997 of them would end in the same result.
I was wondering the same thing, its literally the perfect condition to flash steal elder but instead just walks away There is no way they are able to defend against t1 with baron + elder buff, if they stole the elder they might have a chance to fight just like how oner stole baron I like how these situations show how different players can be when they meet them
Chapters in the video spoil the result btw. Can clearly see there is no game 3 so as soon as we know who wins game 1 the second game was spoiled for me. Oh well
If you ban ahri, t1 would ban ori. T1 wouldnt leave up ori if there wasn’t ahri as a trade. G2 looked like the prepped for nocturne ori combo. Also they had to ban kalista/renata because they wanted to play draven g2. All in all, their draft wasn’t bad and pretty solid but execution was off.
