A decade ago delhi hosted Commonwealth Games.. Till last moment preparations were not complete+huge corruption G20 is no less than cwg but all preparations r complete on time with no corruption That's the most positive aspect❤
G20 has budget of only 900-1000 crore, which mostly is expenditure on service. There are almost no infrastructural costs! CWG on the other hand costed over 10,000 crore without infrastructure costs. WIth infrastructure like metro expansion, multiple stadiums like JNS, Airport Expansion, 4 lane roads it was above 70,000 crores! There will be less than 15000 delegates in G20 and they will come in batches to various cities, while in CWG there were more than 5000 sportsperson only! If you count staff, management and most important tourist (to watch event) etc it was almost double that of G20 for small span of 1 month. Yes, there were issues with the games but still we can't prepare for similar games, hosting international level event is not easy! Credit must be given to both Governments who are making us proud.

@@Madhuvanshcreationfamily😂😂😂 In June 2023, I went to Gurugram via Old Delhi. Old delhi sucks! Nothing is worst than Old delhi. New Delhi is Under the control of Central Government, That's why it is way more better than Old delhi. Otherwise everywhere only garbage would be there. And I am from Ludhiana, Punjab. Yaha dikh raha hai Kejriwal ka Asar main city area may bhi Electricity din k 4-5 Ghante gayab rehti hai..
Nice to see... Ki log dhire dhire discipline sikhrahe hai... Traffic rules follow kar rahe hai or kachada idhar udhar nahi phek rahe hain... Wow such a beautiful behaviour my Lovely friends...
What a lovely video brother !! So happy to see the night view. Looks gorgeous !! Although I belong to Odisha but my heart goes for Delhis development. I wish my whole country develop like this. My sincere thanks to you because through your videos we can see the preparations of Delhi for G 20 summit. Looking forward to your night view of Pragati Maidan and the road leading to it.
Hope they maintain it for years to come, and not only for G20 fever. As indians we don't have that mentality to maintain things which we build, this not in our culture or probably nobody cares about public spaces
Learn from #Indore , year all clean & significantly beautiful city. Indore did permanent work in - Cleanliness & Sanitation, #Sewage treatment (use of #recycled water), broadening of roads, #Plantation 🌲 in divider, renewing footpaths. Water management (Pipelines & most Rain water #harvesting in India), Clearing Dumping ground/ trenching ground, retaining 100 acres land of worth 500 crores, developing City #Forest in that Land. Road sweeping & #Dust removal from city through machines. Recycling of waste into #valuable things, Making #Biomethane from West Waste. Most of the world done with city's own budget. & sold Carbon credits generated from these works.
Did you know the population of Delhi ????? If 5-6 population of Indore merged in Delhi then both cities are equal in population , and New Delhi is Cleaner than Indore.
When I went to Bangkok alone for the first time, some years ago, I was amazed by the metro and skywalk systems. Good that such systems are coming up in many cities in India also now. However, Bangkok is still cleaner and has better looking buildings, and they do not have members of the 'pissfull' community damaging properties.
Let's not bring religion into this. There are people who damage public property and spit and litter from both religions. It isn't about religion. It's about illiteracy and unawareness.
Its ultimately our duty to keep the city area, roads clean, and use dustbins. But we think Sarkaar karegi. that is why we lack in cleanliness, despite world's biggest cleanliness drive (swachh bharat). It got failed due to public like us...who neve care for our nation. Our priorities are political parties.. So if BJP is running some programme, supporters of congress and others will not cooperate. People do not think of India first. that is sad part. We must first develop love for our nation, and support Govt, be it anyone, so that Nation will benefit. Nation is our Pride.
As a dutch with indian roots, it is such a proud moment to see our country making such steps. Becoming what it once was. Sone ki chiriya. Only if we have more modi`s and yogi`s with adani and ambani mindset driven new generations. Bharat will become the best country in the world !!!. Jai Hind Jai bharat

Ideally government should ban spitting in public & anyone who spits should be fined Rs. 2000. Infact incentivise people to record videos of people indulging in spitting. Rs. 2000 fine should be collected from people who spit & on each video proof, the recorder would get 25% (Rs.500) directly to their bank account. Remaining, Rs. 1500 being submitted in goverment coffers. Since implementation would take slightly more time, atleast till the summit, CPWD & NDMC can run awareness campaigns asking people to not spit & litter. Throw your garbage only in the dustbin.
Wish it could be maintained forever.........I want to see India... Cleanest country in the world and I perform my duty Now it's your time to keep it clean.
Agar hum sab Ek hokar imandari se kaam kare in our states then i think we can make our country beautiful n better than switzerland.... Just need some Patriotism, Honesty n Dedication with New Ideas... I think We need to have some competition among each states for Greenery, Beautification, Cleanliness n Infrastructres, Road Etc.. And the Govt should monitor n give away Big Prizes n special Allowances( Lyk small eg- To give free admission to students) to those states who come in Number 1,2 and 3 position every year n show it on TV n News channels to boost the spirit of every state n citizens in the country.
The progress of beautification in recent months has proved one thing - that our gov is capable of doing such beautification in such a short span of time. But it is actually disappointing that it's been done in order to impress outsiders by beautifying roads and blocking off the places which actually show the current situation of delhi. Clearly shows the disregard of government towards voters, and it would've been better if such beautification was done for all parts of delhi in general and not only to meet expectations of foreigners. Still looking on the brighter side, G20 has actually had government up on their asses after such a long time to actually do something benefitial. I guess we should hold such meets every year, so it would keep government doing what it should actually be doing. And not even gonna talk about the evils that have taken place like displacement of people, razing of slums altogether and many other unjustified ultimatums issues by gov to facilitate such beauifications.
@andhola7955 well it can't be work in here , Indian loves throwing trashes on the road we are like that our mentality can't be changed very soon , also it's more on govt to teach citizens about cleanliness , sefty , traffic rules , parking , driving Etiquette , develop sidewalk mentality , beautification of city and many more but because of corruption our national capital looks like third world shithole city 😑
@@rajsparsh4 I'm very straight forward so will not appreciate this , it's all happening just because there's a G20 summit in Delhi , govt really don't care about citizens All this is happening just to show off to the world media.... This will never be taken care of in future... Mark my words ☝️
What is the point of having potted plants on the sidewalks? Pretty sure fee days after the event, they will just be stolen. Its not a permanent option.
Bhai ye NDMC(New Delhi Municipal corporation) area hai in Delhi which is controlled by the central government. To agar kisi ko shreh Dena hai to 2014 se pehle ki development ka Congress ko jayega or 2014 ke baad ka BJP ko jayega Ye Kejriwal ka to kuch hai hi nahi sirf uske sheeshmahal ko chhod de to

Nice video. Agreed Connaught looks good, it used to look slum-ugly and filthy. The park also looks nice. Many years ago I was almost robbed here but smashed the face of the NI thief. Regarding plants in pits, they liik ugly. Why don't North Indians plant perennial flowering and leafy plants directly in the soil ? Is it because of thieves who will uproot and carry away the plants ?
An excellent video very well shot and edited. But I wonder why you called the revolving restaurant a "revolving hotel". I have not heard of a revolving hotel anywhere in the world. Also, traffic lights also have in them lights in yellow and green colours. So it is totally inappropriate to call them "red lights"
