another benefit of the weight is INSANE weight balance actually nuts. 9/10 once modded btw Apparently the g203 prodigy is no longer $20 :(((( amzn.to/35o5wWv Cyn's vid: • Comparing Every Logite...
regular g203 prodigy only costs $13 and the lightsync version costs $16 where i live. whereas other 'budget' mouse like the RVM costs about $60 here. basically the g203 lightysnc/prodigy is the ultimate budget gaming mouse by far here, insane value.
I have a black g203 prodigy and the coating is fine, but as someone who has sweaty fingers I prefer the coating on the lightsync. But if it aint broke, don't replace it I guess. (btw I have had my mouse since December 2019 and i don't have the lightsync)
Hey boardzy, if you read this you should know that to get nice cinematic tech reviews it’s all about the lighting, you should invest $50-$200 in lighting to get crisp cinematic footage. Also you don’t need to say the video is 4K in the title. other than that tho I love your vids and I hope you blow up because your way underrated.
Coming from the g303 (18.5 x 9.5) My performance is insane with that mouse beside initial Cramp ... Once i laid my hand on the egg... Built like a tank, instant love, super comfy, a relief from g303 extreme sides. It fits my hand like a glove, the clicks are nice, they tend to stick and have more travel, heavier to actuate. The g303 have the perfect clicks in my opinion. Feet are lacking, kinda scratchy on GP4, feet on g303 is solid smooth. The g303 cable is better than the rubber cable of the egg, im not hindered by the g303 "rope" since my grip is so solid and the weight of the mouse. Im not sure i´ll be able to get the same control as with the g303 though so it might not be new main, will give it a few more weeks. Egg gang tho
Im too stuck with only egg mice. Im not using arm to move mouse, only from wrist down (very high sensitivity). The g203 is the only mouse (and I used many mice...cheap ..or expensive) that can not track properly on my desk, so the sensor is not that good for high sensitivities. I dont like using mouse pad. So Im back to my G-Pro wired ... not the Hero sensor of course , the old one with the calibration. Hero sensor has twice the LOD. (starting to have issues my scrolwheel on my old G-pro but its still far better than the rest, even with bad scrolwheel )
I believe the coating is not updated, is just that the coating is different between te white and black versions. The black is smooth, more like the zowies, and the white feels more like ABS plastic, it feels like an actual eggshell.
I once used g102 with the same shape and size. It was a nice shape except those weird sides which cramped my hand. So I stopped using it. I wish logitech improves the sides. Because my aim was the best with that mouse :(
I doubt they'll do that. Because it's a budget mouse... and it's quite popular and no one is complaining about it. Who knows maybe in their next revision they might change something
Tbh I always go with white stuff I think it looks better but this idk cause rgb always looked better on white imo other than some but this mouse the white looks fine but + grey it looks🤮🤮
bought mine for like 16 euros, for that price its an insanely good mouse, i even dont mind the rubber cable and for me 80g is very light, used the g600 for 7 years (love it for rpgs) and that beast is 130g ore something like that.
Super late to the party, but as someone with hand tremors i want to say i appreciate the stability factor of the weight. Those super light mouses fuck me up with my natural jitter
ive recently owned a razor death adder and let me tell you.... the g203 is by far way better like the clicks the buttons and its lighter and for almost quarter the price! highly recommended this mouse
I have one of these as a backup mouse just in case i throw my endgame xm1 through a window after i rage quit a game. best budget god tier gaming mouse around.
I have big hands: around 20.5x10.5 cm following Rocket Jump Ninja way of measuring. I used an EC1-A for almost 5 years with clawpalm grip (claw with rested palm on the mouse). Recently switched to claw grip (no rested palm, very similar to fingertip grip) but my pinky was hurting a lot with that mouse. No problems to claw grip the G203 Lightsync, pinky is good, -15 grams, it is my main mouse now, then yes, for clawpalm/palmgrip with my hand size you need to use a bigger mouse. Still, everyone is different, this are just my 2 cents.
What is the best fast mousepad that doesn't have spinouts on Viper Mini sensor(which is why im scared of getting a Raiden MID) and that doesn't annihilate mouse feet(which is why im scared of getting a hardpad like a skypad, btw does skypad destroy feet?)?
i was a long-term 203 main until i made the switch to the viper mini. got to say, my hand rlly do miss that egg shape and i actually prefer it, but as a 61cm/360 i cant get back to 85 grams
@@afrofly5977 Not anymore haha, I now main the Superlight. Regarding the RVM and 203, I still have them both in my collection since I've main both for a good amount of time. When it comes to shape, there is no guarantee that you'll like the egg shape coming from the RVM but both shapes cater to both claw and ftip. The glaring difference between the two is the side walls, the RVM has comfort grooves while the 203 is flat and angled.
Any idea how the coating may hold up over time? My g305 and g203 coating eventually wears down and gets shiny/smooth. Honestly when you zoom in to show the texture, it looks like the same texture as my current g203 that would lose it's texture over time.
There are some methods you can obtain a much grippier coat on your mouse. First one is to sand it down, (e.g 180, 1000 and 2000 granulation sandpaper). Second is to use Lizard grips or any reliable grip tape. 3rd is to paint it that will adhere in time. The choice is yours, young man
The lightsync doesn't use the mercury sensor and uses an unmarked sensor that performs like an AM010. It malfunctions and spins out at 2.3m/s www.reddit.com/r/MouseReview/comments/j7i6ws/psa_the_g102g203_lightsync_does_not_feature_the/
Newsflash: the image quality is gonna be subpar no matter the camera if the lighting sucks. I like the angle though. Just get a ring light or even just turn on the ceiling lights in your room.
@@boardzy Ah damn, missed those comments and it really didn't look like the light was on. Either way real nice to know it's gonna get better. Lighting kinda was the only complaint I could've had anyway.
They have a lightweight mouse ULTRA-LIGHTWEIGHT At Logitech G, a wireless gaming mouse doesn’t need to be heavy. G305 is very light, coming in at only 99 grams, made possible thanks to the lightweight mechanical design and ultra-efficient battery usage.
He has a mouse-pad tier list video. I think his favorite is the Artisan Hien, and if you want something a little slower he also recommends the Artisan Zero soft.
My G Pro Gaming mouse was having right click issues so I just grabbed a Viper mini and idk. I kinda wish I grabbed this instead. Maybe I just need to get used to it but I find it way more uncomfortable compared to my good ol 🥚. I really hope they find a way to get this under 70g in the future and Ill have to switch back
Agreed. Funny enough i got a Viper Mini before i got my G102(203)... absolutely horrible experience. Replaced it for the G102. Best mouse i've ever used, but i will be replacing it with a G502 once it bites the dust because even tho it has a nice feature set for the price... it looks plain.
