Antique radiological meter type CD V-717 made by Vicroreen was manufactured near the height of the "Cold War" in 1964. It's in an ionization chamber survey meter designed for use by radiological monitors in WER (Weapons Effect Reporting) station in case of a nuclear attack. The size is 4.5" x 9" x 7" and it uses one standard size "D" battery (not included). These look slightly used (they will have smudges and scratches) and some may have labels. We did insert a battery temporarily to ensure the units "Check Circuit" indication worked, however we must sell them "As Is" because we can't calibrate or test them fully. You get one CD V-717, one manual and a strap.
