Personally I really like the new Frankie but I can understand why a lot of people don’t like them more than the original. The pink definitely isn’t for everyone, and I do think that they would’ve been more popular without it.
I honestly think that they could have gotten away with it if they made the stripe of pink either narrower or moved it back further. With it in front, it’s really in your face the moment you see the doll.
Cleo’s refresh doll is easily the best imo. All of the others I don’t really care for ( except Draculara, in which I do have her refresh doll ) but Cleo is just on a whole other level of stunning. Plus I’m apparently a sucker for bangs on characters lol
I feel like the rich dark hairs on her make her look more elevated and mature. The lighter brown they would use just looked….really cheap…. I fully think that the reason no one really liked the original outfit was because the hair just really didn’t go with the darker colors she was wearing and it just made it look so tacky. I honestly didn’t realize just how much the hair was affecting the doll until Hextian did his Custom and just with the reroot the difference was so STARK
I'm not digging the refresh clawdeen pants, but the hair? THE HAIR?!? My Number 1 complaint about her g3 look was always the purple hair. It looks awful and screams "kids like purple so make EVERYTHING purple" despite it looking horrible and like a nasty bruise. Clawdeen brown hair supremacy!🙌🏾💖
I just love the new core refresh Draculaura she is my goth queen 🖤💖✨💅 Also I can't complain about any of Cleo's styles surprisingly she just mostly looks good in this new gen dare I say more than the G1. And I have like 3 different Cleo's so.
I prefer the original g3 Frankie clawdeen and draculaura, the new lagoona and Cleo are good tho The original g3 Frankie definitely follows the ideal for the current Frankie personality, the g3 draculaura builds it's own version separate from the other versions of her while still being a newer version. The clawdeen, much better as the first make, you can tell she's a new gen so same issue as draculaura, looks too similar to old gens. Lagoona's new g3 looks less chaotic and messy and the Cleo looks more like the personality we all love but I'm not sure if it matches her new persona, but I like new g3 Cleo due to personal preference.
I would get rid of the head fan on G3 Clawdeen and give her space buns, that would be adorable!!! That hairstyle is the only disappointment on the whole doll for me.
I love the core refresh dolls, but prefer the G3 Pets in signature especially the canines, like Tut, Rockseena, Crescent and Watzie and also Dustin. Sad refresh doesn't have any Icoffins.
Clawdeen has always been my FAV character but with G3 I lean more torque Dracula or Cleo. But the one ABOMINATION……. Is Lagoona. How could they take away the BLUE from Lagoona BLUE! 🩵💙 The blue and blonde looked so much better then pink and blonde… And pink is my favorite color. So that says something, lol.
im not a big fan of g3 , but honestly some of the dolls are really cool to me such as the core refresh drac and frankie , and pretty much every new twyla doll some definitely arent my favourite . . like toralei and clawdeen
