is it common for this car's transmission to fail after 100 miles? Just wondering because I found a really nice one, at a good price, but it has 90 miles on it.
ate you referring to 90,000 miles? these transmission can last forever but under hard driving and with high mileage it is "common" for valvebody issues
@@finfinq yes, I meant 90,000 ahah. I knew you couldn’t go wrong with the vq, that’s good to know. LI think I’ll buy the car, even if it has this problem where it jerks at low speeds, I think I’ll do it aha
@@rackss5369i believe it🔥..proof that you most likely take care of the car (oil changes on time, trans/diff fluid changes) & something i think is important is 100% of the time on a cold start, all u need is 30 sec - 1min then drive off slowly(not exceeding 3-4k rpms. Ive always done this & I’m not telling anyone what to do but I’ve done this with every car I’ve owned and they’ve been very good to me in return, so I always treat the car well
@@finfinq nice I was wondering I got similar on my 3.7 but stock cats 2.5 pipe all way back & x pipe , vibrant res & muff delete dual exit , maybe if I get test pipes it will be extra loud
@@finfinq I have a first gen g that had a brake solenoid go out. Think I paid $60 for a replacement one I pulled from a junkyard. Took a chance with the one I pulled but, when I saw that the trans fluid was red it was promising. Plenty of write ups on the internet on the procedure to replace it. Good luck.
