I have the coupe with Motordyne and the ART pipes, absolutely love it!! No drone at all!! And I can deal with it as a daily or weekend car. I tell alot of people that Motordyne has a deep growl to it while driving. Has a deep growl at idle, but has an aggressive pitch at wot. But not irritating. The perfect setup for the price😍💯👍👏👏👏

Appreciate this video man, my cats are giving in and my car already has a full cat back exhaust, looking to replace with something for a little more noise, but I have a 45 min commute each way so drone is a ABSOLUTE no go. This answered my questions!

I absolutely love my motordyne. I also have high flow cats and they aren't resonated. Zero drone. Like you said you can hear it, but it's not the low pitched ear piercing sound. It's a very pleasant sound and always sounds good no matter the RPM.

Some FI hfc just popped up for sale around me for a good deal and I’m thinking of picking them up bu I wanted to know if the difference between them would be big between the Rhfc and hfc as far as loudness in your opinion. Original plan was to save up for the Rhfc. Thanks man keep the videos coming great content 👍

I recently threw the motordyne hfcs on my G about 3 weeks ago. Prior to that i couldn’t find a sound clip to save my life! Lol. Running stock exhaust on a 2012 xS coupe with the HFCs for now. Definitely getting the motordyne soon.

Could just be me, but it seems like it's a bit more "dronier" at 2-2.5k rpm than 3-3.5k rpm. Btw, I just picked up an 11 IPL coupe and I'm about to get a motordyne catback. Love your channel man.

Love this video! Makes good noise but wouldnt call it drone. Still a little loud for me as i drive 40k miles a year delivering and like to drive fast everywhere, but i adore the sound. Cant wait to trade my 7at g37 for a 6mt

Same amount of drone as my muffler delete. That's pretty amazing! But does the exahust smell bad because of the rhfc?

RHFC stands for resonated high flow cat. The car smells close to stock, unlike with test pipes.

How bad was the smell with test pipes? Prior experience with downpipes in another vehicle=smelly at stoplights with windows down

Preety much that’s when I smelt them also. They are not too bad, whoever is behind me gets the worst but it just got overbearing for me over time.

When you installed the FI RHFC, did you have to remove the support bracket and is there any sort of vibration (if the support bracket was removed)?

@@3rdPedalMedia Thanks! I bought the Berk HFC a couple weeks ago, which is paired with the Stillen CBE, but the rasp is just too much. So was looking at either the FI RHFC or maybe adding in some resonators to the y-pipe.

@@3rdPedalMedia no still same. But got a bad exhaust leak at header manifold and at exhaust flange. Just ordered czp extra thick gaskets that i hope will solve it. Header gasket getting fixed tomorrow
