Just installed mine today. Not as easy as the video “on how to” shows. Though not as flat as a Bak Flip, I chose this one for it’s security and water management. Bak Flips can be broken into easily with a Jimmie. Several have commented on locks freezing in winter. Car doors with key locks freeze in the winter. So this should not be an issue. Metal hardware is great, bought on their website, fast shipping. Very happy.
I notice that it opened up the other way too near the window..but will it open more than just that one ?? Like if you wanted to have a toolbox in there..do you think you could open the toolbox if you had one in there.?
I know this is an old video, but if your able to respond how long has this cover held up to this point. Did you have any issues in the cold months with the lock freezing up? Any update on how well it kept the water out? Thanks!
The cover is holding up great. I am a landscaper so it really gets work and banged around. There are no rips, tears, or cuts in any of the material. I don't usually use the locks in the winter so I can't say if they lock up with ice but the locks do still work.
@@canudigitnursery4145 Awesome. Thank you for the reply. I'm about to pull the trigger on this cover. I know you you referenced in your video that the cover didn't leak much at all. Is this still the case or have you had any water leaking issues. That's probably my biggest concern with this cover. Great video and thanks again for the response.
It has held up great. No adjustments needed. Locks seem to lock when I do lock them. It's been banged around because of the equipment we use but overall it looks like its new and works like its new. I'd buy it again.
