Just the cutest album ever!! People will be looking all over for this paper now that they have seen this album. I was so lucky to see it in person and the colors are so much more vibrant. You really "scored" on this one. I can't wait to make this darling album and platform.

Oh my goodness that is so cute! I have been hoarding my Mother Goose paper with the plans of sitting down one day and making an album for my daughter. Your boxed mini is inspiring me to do just that! I'm glad you are back to posting projects / videos. I always enjoy seeing your creations and get excited when I see that you have uploaded a new video.

Thank you Pam :). Yes, there will be a full decorating series available with this. It will be super detailed and show all of the cuts, scores and real time assembly of every page as well as the construction of the platform base. I'm going to try to have it ready within the week and I'll post a quick video when it's ready. Thanks so much for watching! What a gorgeous album. I love the paper and the design. I am just learning and am currently creating an 8x8 album but am really nervous about binding it as the pages are quite thick. I have only made a couple of small albums until now which had a cardboard spine & chipboard covers. I was wondering what kind of hinge system you use on something like this and what size gusset you have in between the pages?

I love this album and followed the link to the boxed mini album pattern and video tutorial and purchased the files but when i downloaded them they are the instructions to make a completely different album. I'm very new and very confused. Do I buy the instructions to make the album? If so, is it a tutorial? Also, is it for the book and the platform? Or can I buy the book made and add my own papers? That would be great!! I love the album but have a different paper line in mind.

Candi Zimmerman Yes, the platform measurements and assembly is included. The 5for$5 add on sizes for the Boxed Mini is the one you want for the extra sizes. The basic constructing of the box, pages and binding was done using the 6 page Boxed Mini Album pattern. Thanks so much !! --Cristi

Vicki, This album was made to demonstrate what you could make combining the 5for$5 add on sizes for the boxed mini album with the 6 page Boxed Mini Album pattern so yes, in order to make one just like it requires two. Thanks so much! Cristi

Hi Dyan, the tutorials to make the album and the expanded 'add on' sizes were created before the platform so they are not included with those patterns. BUT, the platform tutorial and video will be included in the decorating videos that I'm doing now :) They should be ready in the next three days so you can get started with your box and album construction now and the detailed decorating video will be ready for you early next week.
