OK , two things .....When you had the original ammeter , did the one from Ron have the same polarity ( + on the SAME side ) ? and did you use the original circuit breakers ? that is NOT a great idea ......ask me HOW I know ? LOL If someone is that much of a purist , at the very least , they should be load tested to ensure they do , indeed , pop . Going back in there after everything is done is NO fun .
