A federal judge in Florida laid out some nice guidelines on how pro se consumers (who don't have lawyers) can better plead (write) their lawsuits. It is also good advice for consumer lawyers to follow.
And there is a little bonus on whether you should refer back to a prior complaint when you amend the complaint (lawsuit).

Can a collection agency use an old Contract for debt validation? They sent the Account Statement without any signature and an old contract dated 6/2020 with my signature & landlord signature......I didn't renew the lease, moved out 6/2021 ....also by this time there was a different landlord.

Hopefully they can take what the judge said and modify their complaint or get with a consumer lawyer in GA.

Attn 2-23 cv 110, just this year the cfpb paved the way to sue for any and all defined actions by Portfolio Recovery Associates. Does this new case give us consumers cause to review PRAs activities since 2015 to now to allege violations? I think the cfpb allows financial recourse through a complaint?
