As someone who is also a survivor of brain surgery, I can understand the frustrations she went through. She is a definite inspiration to continue moving forward, and continue onward with life.
Both Gabby and Bob recovered amazingly from their injuries. Their stories are like a combination of the best and the worst of humanity. They both have attempts made on their lives by animals, and have their lives returned to them by the brilliance of modern medicine and the loving care of others. The gun laws in the US are abhorrent, and dorky gun-fetishists need to get a life and start giving a shit about their fellow man.

Friggin kardashians can't wear the same outfit twice without getting noticed yet too many are willing to ignore thousands of hours of video, dozens of witness statements, and they think someone would get shot in the head for gun control (when the argument could easily been made that another gun at the scene could've made this a lot less bad). How is that comment in any way appropriate? I agree with a lot of what atheists say, but that tone is completely unacceptable, especially in this context. Its like that whiney kid in the playground who tells everybody Santa isn't real. In the case of that one kid who has leukaemia, just leave it, he doesn't need that right now.
