I've been living in the Seattle area for 20 yrs; but in 1963 i was in the 5th grade at Kalihi Waena elementary school . And Mr. Keapuhiwa taught all the 5th grade boys a hula to dance for May Day. So all us Japanese, Portugese, Filipino, Hawaiian, Haole, Chinese, etc. boys when dance hula to Koni Au I Ka Wai @ 10:47 . I no can explain this to my neighbors ova hea . . .
