I cant imagine why wig companies constantly put warm roots on cool wigs. I dont want gold roots which is why I am ordering A COOL TONE BLONDE. Its s frustrating.... Great video!!
Glad to hear I'm not the only one. I wish they had a variation of choices on the rooting colors. Some more subtle ones would be wecome too as I am looking for a natural look.
Are you interested is selling the Lasting Impression? I love it and they foolishly discontinued it. It had a bad advertising pic. I honestly think that did it in.
Is the Sandy Blonde a warm or neutral color? It was hard to tell, and you didn’t describe the color. I think the best way to root a blonde wig is to use Copic markers from the Art Supply store. There are hundreds of colors, so you can pick exactly the colors you want. I’m a natural light/ medium ash blonde, and I choose shades of light taupe and warm gray. I use the warm gray on honey shades, and light taupe on platinum shades. There is working time after applying the markers, so you can blot excess or blend with tissue. The markers leave no powder residue or stickiness, like root powder, eyeshadow, or root cover spray do. They’ll fade some with washing, but you don’t need to re-apply as often as with powder. You can also add lowlights. I rooted/lowlighted Belle Tress Marshmallow Blonde this way, and omg, she came out looking FANTASTIC! Like a natural tow-headed platinum blonde. My Dad is one, so I’m very familiar with the color. STUNNING!
They're all lovely. I think I would base my choice on the color of my outfit. All look great on you. My hair is naturally white and sometimes a cool white just looks awful with sweaters that are yellowish beige. So that's when I'd choose the Champagne Blonde or the Sandy Blonde. I'm not terribly fond of the Silvery Moon because it has a pinkish cast, but if you're wearing pink or purple, that might be the best choice. I really appreciate your comparison video. Very helpful!
