It’s easy to forget Gabriel, does not speak English. Writing a song in English is extremely hard when you cannot speak in English. Gabriel has “copy rights” for every song that that has his Name and “Rhythm & Truth”. At least one song was released by Patti LaBelle perhaps 40 years ago. But, these songs were released on his Rhythm & Truth album. Gabriel’s English was not as refined as his English in songs today. That album can still be purchased digitally for just a few $$ dollars. There is a Mariah Carey Christmas song he released on Thanksgiving a couple years or so ago. Brasil gave Gabriel Copy Rights on that song; because, he made enough changes they crowned him with “copy rights”. Every Thanksgiving Gabriel will drop a Christmas songs. Have fun kids ❤️ Timothy 🌞🌴

Gabriel is so talented at singing I think he could find someone to work with that would write songs for him in whatever language he wants. Dimash is another artist we react to and he is why I started to wonder about Gabriel. Dimash has fans all over the world. He has broken English as well. Most of his fans can't understand most of what he sings. Music is the universal language. It transcends so many boundaries. I truly believe Gabriel could be a world wide super star if he just released a few original songs. That doesn't mean he has to write them himself. Elvis Presley never wrote a song his entire career. Look at what he was able to accomplish

In my opinion, Gabriel has reached a level of excellence that places him among the best singers in the world. After gaining recognition from the global audience on AGT, I sincerely wish for him to achieve all the success and recognition he deserves🙏🏻❤️
Gabriel is back in Brazil and this was just recorded and dropped to RU-vid. He Gabrielized this song!!! Absolutely Phenominal cover. He is such a brilliant vocalist. He is untouchable as a vocalist!!! AGT is still such a mystery to me, but I'm leaving it behind!!! Great reaction!!! ❤
I'm a little irritated. I can't wrap my head around it. Why is Gabriel not receiving the recognition he deserves. He has such a beautiful voice. He is just unparalleled. I just don't get. It makes my heart heavy. I am tearful right now, I just want this for him badly. He has such a hunger. He is showing intense feelings in this video, I just wish I had some explanation or rationalization for what's holding things up. He is working so hard for his dream. If only I could wave a magic wand.
@user-rt1xe2ej2c I wish I had an answer for you. I'm not sure why the music industry anoints some and leaves far greater talent on the sidelines. The vast majority of people who hear this gifted young man sing are in awe of his God-given talent. I think you are hearing more and more frustration coming from the reactors asking the same questions. Seeing what we saw on AGT was an embarrassingly sad commentary of how things have fallen so far. I have decided that the best thing I can do to help Gabriel is to speak up for him on these reactor channels and pray for opportunities for him. God's timing is always perfect. His voice needs to be heard and I truly believe that time and opportunities will come for him. I also try my best to keep close tabs on his social media platforms and am a part of an English speaking chat group on What's app which you can access through his Fan Club page on RU-vid. Small things, but at least I feel I can help him where I can. Sorry. This is way too long. Keep the faith. I believe good things are coming soon for him.
O canal do Gabriel no RU-vid tem 5 anos. O talento dele é magnífico e mesmo assim ainda não chegou a um milhão de inscritos. Acredito que ele precisa de uma equipe de marketing fazendo esse papel.

Voltei para dizer outra coisa, agora um tópico mais sério já que vocês abordaram isso no vídeo. Concordo totalmente com vocês quando disseram que não se trata de uma competição para ver quem canta melhor. O objetivo dos RU-vidrs que fazem "reacts" é justamente mostrar o trabalho de artistas que já são famosos e outros nem tanto. E está tudo bem se você prefere cantores com vozes mais suaves, cantores que compõem suas próprias músicas ou que tocam instrumentos. Mas gente, vamos manter o respeito. Não há necessidade de depreciar um artista porque você gosta mais de outro. Ter uma mente "fechada" assim acaba até dificultando que você expanda os seus horizontes. Amo Gabriel, mas assistindo aos reacts me tornei fã de Dimash e Cakra Kahn. E posso apreciar todos sem desmerecer ninguém. Aqui no Brasil, Gabriel ainda não é famoso. Stunning performance. I agree 100% with the comments on the video. Brazil is a country with intense cultural production. But, they are not listening to a talent like this amazing vocalist, or the country is focused only on songs out of Gabriel Henrique's style. This is not a good news.

Well, I would follow Gabriel anywhere, and listen to anything he sang…even the phone book! I’m a pro singer, and I think he’s the greatest, most dynamic singer I’ve ever heard in this world. Michael Jackson was a genius writer, arranger and sooo prolific, but as a singer, not so much. You could recognize his voice instantly, but I never thought of him as an earth shattering singer. He always sounded like he needed more testosterone! On another note, there are a lot of singers who don’t write their own music and they seem to manage fine. Did Whitney ever write her own songs? Does Dimash? I didn’t think she did. I would love it if Gabriel wrote his own music, but for now I’m just thrilled whenever I hear he’s got another cover out, because I think he is simply the best singer out there of this generation. Flipping this around, Bob Dylan wrote his own music but I couldn’t stand his voice, so I didn’t care that he was a prolific and skilled songwriter, unless someone ELSE sang his pieces! I don’t think Frank Sinatra or Tony Bennett wrote their own music either, but maybe that was a different era. To me (I DO write my own music, but nobody’s listening to me😊), it’s all about communication in the end. Is this person taking me someplace? Are they moving me, bringing about a change in my thinking, lighting a fire under my best intentions so I actually do something? Are they making me feel less alone in this harsh world? Those are the things that matter and the reason why we write music. Gabriel said that he sings what’s in his heart and what communicates love. He also sings gospel. Whenever he wants to put his own stuff out there, I’ll be listening - most likely in awe, but until then, Gabriel’s voice, style, passion and power seal the deal for me.
Yes!! Your reaction is the one I 've been looking forward to. The only comparison between MJ & GH for me is they both possess pristine vocals & they deliver with 100 % in their performances. Another artist, Luther Vandross enjoyed a career singing mainly covers & like Gabriel owns every song, it becomes his. friends Gabriel comes from a humble family. They do not have the financial conditions to launch it on the world market. His only support is RU-vid and his fans. Gabirel was invited to participate in American Idol, but his family did not accept the invitation, as now it is time for Gabriel to release his own music. He received some invitations after AGT, the family is analyzing the proposals. And the thing is, he is still studying English to improve himself. Another situation is that in Brazil, the type of music that Gabriel sings only appeals to a small number of people, other songs are more accepted in Brazil. We're rooting for him, thank you for your kindness.

But to truly understand and get the intended message of the lyrics of this song,I believe you need the visual impact of watching Michael Jackson’s original masterpiece of a video! It is frightening,but powerful and as relevant as ever…a forewarning if you will. One largely being ignored. Gabriel is a beautiful human with a voice to match! Thank you - Mike and Jess - for your kind reactions. I didn't know either the song of MJ. So before i watch the cover of GH, I saw the video clip of the original music. I think that the Lyrics & Noises can be better (tolerated and) understood (as a kind of a movie soundtrack), after we know the story, the narrative that MJ and his team build to tell us about his schoking vision of what was ( still is) happening in the world.
