Hi sweetie! Ok, Gabriel is otherworldly. Some can sing & have certain things they do well. Gabriel can do it ALL. With EASE. With ZERO formal training of ANY kind. His arsenal is limitless. His range, his runs, his power, his delicacy, the effortless transitions from chest to head voice & back, & then throw in the ability to not only whistle, but sustain it & do whatever he wants to with it…I need say no more. I know u get it. He & Lloyiso are hands down my 2 favorite male artists. And Gabriel is also an example of being on a talent show & not winning because the general public knows zero about singing. If you can’t react to Mac, pls listen to both versions in your spare time, D’Angelo 1st, since he’s the original singer. Agreed. This is an absolute vocal masterpiece. No need to elaborate further, is there? The dude is amazing. I have listened to this cover quite a few times, and it gets better with time. Did you hear how his whistle note almost broke two times? I hope he won't do that technique too much, because it can't be good for his voice. But I guess he knows best. But I still don't think it's a healthy thing to do for his voice. Not for male voices in general. When it comes to Dimash I look at it differently. It seems to be natural part of his 7 octave register.
He performed with the Romanian Sinfonica Orchestra at the 2023 Christmas Cantata and sang four wonderful songs. He still had a sore throat from the previous days and still gave a stunning performance!
