He is Brazilian, doesn’t speak English. He learned these songs phonetically by listening to them, so his pronunciation reflects that in some of the lyrics. I respectfully disagree on your auto tune remarks.

You entered the univers of the brasilian gospelsinger Gabriel Henrique. His voice, his technics are unique. He is known as the male version of Mariah Carey. He sings a lot of covers of Whitney, Mariah, Celine or Jenifer Hudson, but also a lot of Gospelsongs in portuguese. To understand him you must know that he didn’t speak English at all. He learned the songs by hearing the words. I hope you will do more reactions for exemple Stand up or I wat to know what love is or O Holy Night. But also Songs in Portuguese. Gabriel doesn't use autotune. All the melismas, falsettos, highs and whistle are natural.

Love your reaction and appreciate your technical expertise. As someone else said in the comments, you really need to hear his car series which he did to silence the talk of his "magic tricks" to increase his range and perfect his pitch. This is an older video and his technique and English have improved on his already incredible gift. He flew to the US to audition for AGT and while there stayed with family. During this stay he was recorded singing in the living room and the results are mind blowing. Check his live stuff out and it really gives you and appreciation for just how talented he really is. Taking into consideration that he just recently stated taking vocal training and English classes he truly is phenomenal. Jeff

Questa cover è vecchia, Gabriel non usa l'autotune nei suoi video, è così sintonizzato che dà l'impressione che lo usi, ma non lo fa. Guarda i video che canta nella sua macchina e sentirai la potenza della sua voce. Gabriel è la versione maschile di Mariah, può raggiungere note più alte di Whitney e Mariah. Il 6 giugno, guarda America's Got Talent e lo sentirai cantare.

Todos que ouvem o Gabriel a primeira vez dizem que ele usa autotuni. Já nem é novidade. Gabriel cantou essa mesma música dentro de um carro, sem microfone, sem editar o vídeo, apenas no carro e gravado por um celular. Sugiro verificar, não só esse vídeo, mas muitos outros que ele cantou. Sem contar que ele já participou de programa ao vivo e não tem edição por se tratr de competição de canto.

Having read the comments, the overwhelming opinion is that Gabriel uses no special effects. Overwhelmingly correct. I've never heard a note from him that needed tuning!!
