Oh my Lord someone please show this to Mariah! The talent this guy has is astonishing. His vocal range is off the scale and do you know what I really love? He could have sang this exactly like the original but he made it his own and that shows versatility as well as uniqueness.
Gabriel Henrique is a Brazilian gospel singer who's got mad vocal skills since he was a kid. He's got a bunch of videos singing the toughest songs to sing, especially Mariah Carey, Whitney, and Celine Dion. You gotta check out his RU-vid channel, man. I gotta say, he's like the best person out there who can sing like Mariah Carey right now. We wanna see more of your reactions to his videos 'cause he's way above the global average when it comes to singing, seriously.
His voice is amazing! He has the range, agility and fluidity! That said, not to take away from his amazing voice, this was not live. It was obviously recorded in studio and then lip sung to record the video. I would love for him to sing this on America’s Got Talent live! It’s a hard song to sing live though so I doubt he’ll do it.

His vocal palette is impressive, he is famous for subtly embellishing his interpretations with inimitable runs, masterful falsetto voices, mind-blowing belts and at the end and above all breathtaking Whistles. Every time I hear GABRIEL I feel the anointing on his gift. He has been taking ENGLISH lessons so he is improved in his covers and I can’t wait to see him audition in front of AGT judges. There are 2 videos of him singing it - choose the video where he is walking around wearing white earbuds and holding a very small white hands-free mic (not the video where he is holding a blue karaoke mic). The video is 3:57 secs long. You will DEF enjoy!
I doubt it's live. Looks like it's studio produced and he's miming over it outside but there is no doubt he is a great live singer as he did a few live performances in his car where you could hear it was live and it was still amazing.
I don't think it's live either, however, he did a cover of "I wanna know what love is" in his car without a mic which was definitely live, and he hit ALL the notes flawlessly, so he definitely has the chops.
@@ifluvinguiswrong it's because he's outside on a hill with wind that you can tell it's NOT live. It's prerecorded and he's done the video outside. You can actually hear parts of the whistle which have effects and overlap on them. Nobody is saying he's not a great singer, but that's not live! The ones in the car are live.
Honestly this performance doesn't make me feel. He can do all the tricks, but I'd rather hear something original. Mariah already did it, and it was original when she did it. It's impressive, but 'm not moved.
