Hi Mathias, what a fabulous cover of a beautiful song. This I believe was one of Minnie's last recording before she sadly passed away in July 1979 after her battle with breast cancer. A life taken from us too soon, she was only 31 years old. I'm sure she would be proud of Gabriel's cover of this beautiful song. Can't wait to see him on AGT. My husband and I love your channel, keep up the great work. Best wishes Geoff xxx 🌈 (GB)
HI , This Minnie Riperton song " Loving You " broke new ground with those cute "bird" notes. She was a bit of a precursor to the "Whistles" and paved the way for Mariah Carey, Christine Aguilera, Ariana Grande and... of course the Master in the field, the incomparable Gabriel Henrique. A tailor-made song for whoever is the best male vocalist to excel in this register. Not only does he manage to hit those whistle notes, but he sustains them for long seconds, going up and down, in the blink of an eye. But what is most incredible is that he incorporates runs and melodies into these whistles.!!!!! Gabriel Henrique is absolutely Brilliant and his vocal abilities more and more impressive. This rendition of "Loving You" is absolutely gorgeous This song is legendary and has entered the American heritage through the refreshing musical innovation that it had been able to create with its magnificent whisles. These little birds that mingle with the magnificent melody carried by the angelic voice of Gabriel, embellished by his runs always posed subtly and of course the sublime whistles which reach their peak there A few minutes of Heavenly Ecstasy with all these celestial notes . A magnificent setting of the video with these two colors Blue and White in the decor but also in Gabriel 's outfit . Great effect !!! Now the road is wide open in front of him . We hope that the path he'll take will lead him to the success he deserves . We are all behind him , and we cross our fingers 🙏🙏🙏🙏 Thank you for your nice reaction to Gabriel . 🤩🤩🤩🗼🗼🗼🌅🌅🌅
Gabriel did such a beautiful tribute to Minnie. Such singing! His unique runs and never ending whistles were otherworldly! Magnificent! No one will ever sing this better than Gabriel! I never wanted it to end. Thanks for your reaction. Loved it! Stu from NYC. ❤
That was funny when you said, "I wonder will he go all out." And of course he did. 😅 Gabriel Henrique will be participating on AGT. Don't know how true it is but I hear Chakra Kahn is also competing. 😊 Thanks so much. 🙏🤩
Did you catch that smoke in his face outer he killed the song I mean, he turned and looks at us like OK that was easy? What's next? You got something for me next
