If Gabriel ever decided to go on tour in the U.S.A., I will be on the front row. Someone said that all these RU-vid fantastic singers ought to get together and put on concerts around the world taking turns singing. What a concert that would be. And I still do love that version, so much... but I just liked the simplicity of Gabriel on his own in his latest one too - but that's the beauty right, we have ALL of them to play lol 😜❤

I might be incorrect but I think that several of Gabriel’s earlier covers were designed to showcase specific technical abilities (in addition to other items of technique) as well as doing justice to the songs (especially on an emotional level). So, for example, I believe Oceanos is a study in vocal dynamics with him varying many of the phrases’ internal volumes. His other covers likewise highlight other technical qualities in service of the covers. Btw, I agree the covers improve over time especially with elegance and delicacy.

That seems like a totally logical theory, so I'd back you on it haha... Do you know I've been thinking and whilst Gabriel's most recent version was my favourite of the three - I can't stop thinking about the duet with Pedro... I think THAT one may be my favourite actually... haha, there's just so much greatness to choose from right?! 😂

The best and only version that I will listen to is Gabriel singing Oceanos by himself in Portuguese andin English. And I do prefer the second song he sings by himself rather than the first. I asked you for it and you delivered. I do not favor the duet with his friend Pedro although most do. I am Stu an individual.. When he sings by himself he is much more passionate and emotive and gives me soo much joy 😊 and life. Others may prefer what they like, but I believe in letting freedom ring and those are me favorites ya know. And praise God! I still await your reaction to my girl Glennis Grace of Holland who I'm sure you'll love. She also sings The Star Spangled Banner live which is a treat to the ears. I hope she's on your reaction list. And you are still the King of GIFS!
